It is shown that Raman spectroscopy can be used to identify complex anions sorbed on an anion exchange resin. Results for [AuC14]-and [AuBr4]-, and for anionic halo-complexes of indium(III), are described.
Cation-exchange techniques have been used to study the complexing of indium(il1) and nitrate ions in dilute acid solution, at a constant total ionic strength of 0.691 M. The experimental values of K, = 1.50 and K, = 0.33 are compared with results for analogous systems.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
