The analytical solution of the Schrödinger equation for the Manning-Rosen potential plus a ringshaped like potential is obtained by applying the Nikiforov-Uvarov method by using the improved approximation scheme to the centrifugal potential for arbitrary l states. The energy levels are worked out and the corresponding normalized eigenfunctions are obtained in terms of orthogonal polynomials for arbitrary l states.
Foreign bodies in the urethra are rare in the literature. A majority of the foreign bodies administered in the urethra are because of a psychiatric disorder, senility, intoxication, and self-erotic stimulation. Clinical examination and imaging tests, such as X-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) have been used for the diagnosis of foreign bodies. Surgical exploration or endoscopic extraction are the main approaches to the treatment. This case report deals with a 45-year-old male patient who was admitted with urethral pain to the emergency service. A nail scissor was diagnosed in the urethra and endoscopic extraction was performed under regional anesthesia.
The contribution of the higher-twist mechanism to the large-p T inclusive gluon production cross section in πp collisions is calculated in case of the principle of maximum conformality and BrodskyLepage-Mackenzie approaches in the dependence of the pion distribution amplitudes. The highertwist cross sections obtained in the framework of the principle of maximum conformality and Brodsky-Lepage-Mackenzie approaches, and compared and analyzed in relation to the leadingtwist cross sections and each other.
