Galanin and IL-6 were found to be significantly associated with insulin resistance markers in GDM, thus may play important roles in regulation of glucose hemostasis.
The phIGFBP-1 in cervical secretions is a potential specific marker for preterm delivery occurring before 37 weeks. Also cervical detection of phIGFBP-1 by immunochromatography is a rapid and easily applicable test that highly predicts preterm delivery.

Dolayısıyla bu araştırmada ebelik öğrencilerinin kültürel duyarlılıkları ile kültürel beceri düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırma bir devlet üniversitesinde öğrenim gören 318 ebelik öğrencisi ile analitik ve kesitsel olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplamada Demografik Bilgi Formu, Kültürlerarası Duyarlılık Ölçeği ve Kültürlerarası Beceri Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verileri, ANOVA ve Pearson korelasyon testleri ile değerlendirilmiştir.
Fostpartum period is a very important process for parents and babies. Especially parents with special conditions (disability, infertility, abnormal infant, unintended pregnancy, multiple pregnancy) have difficulty in adapting to the postnatal period. While adaptation of disabled parents to postpartum period may be prolonged, postpartum depression may be observed in infertile parents in postpartum period and parents with an abnormal infant may experience post-traumatic stress. Parents who have babies as a result of unintended pregnancy; reactions just like anger, frustration, not wanting the baby can be seen, postpartum psychological and social support are needed in multiple pregnancies. This review was prepared to raise an awareness for midwives and nurses about the adaptation processes of the parents with special conditions.
