Esta investigación tiene como objetivo describir los modelos gerenciales de las medianas empresas que se aplican en el mercado de Ecuador y Perú, mediante la investigación del proceso de gestión de prácticas empresariales de múltiples variables que ejercen los gerentes por parte del sector ecuatoriano y peruano. Este estudio se desarrolla para atender el hecho de que no se ha demostrado con sustentos científicos, que se han fomentado modelos de gerencia en los dos países. El contenido y desarrollo corresponden a una investigación de tipo empírica, en la que el análisis parte desde las particularidades administrativas de las medianas empresas, llegando a proponer alternativas de modelos gerenciales. El nivel de la investigación es descriptivo, estableciendo un diseño no experimental transeccional; para el análisis estadístico se utiliza como herramienta de investigación una encuesta con diferentes escalas cualitativas. La técnica fue aplicada a 130 medianas empresas entre directivos y gerentes de Ecuador y Perú. Los resultados muestran que: las empresas planifican sus objetivos institucionales; la experiencia de los empleados incrementa la productividad; se utilizan estándares de calidad en la producción; existen espacios de motivación dentro de la empresa; se han implementado proyectos de innovación que permiten tener una ventaja competitiva en el mercado; entre otras características de las medianas empresas de Ecuador y Perú.
Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la influencia de la innovación en la competitividad de las medianas empresas del Ecuador. Los autores consideran a la innovación como la acción de generar ideas a través de la gestión del conocimiento mediante el aprovechamiento de la tecnología, con la finalidad de incidir en la competitividad de las empresas mediante la generación de valor agregado en la oferta de productos y servicios. La metodología del presente artículo se desarrolló como un diseño no experimental de tipo transversal, exploratorio y fundamentalmente bibliográfico para referenciar diferentes textos y contextos empresariales. En esencia, se trató de un trabajo de revisión teórica próximo a la hermenéutica. Entra las conclusiones más representativas se destaca que, la innovación como proceso integral que busca desarrollar al máximo las capacidades productivas de una empresa determinada tiene variadas implicaciones económicas y de competitividad, porque, por un lado, aumenta la cantidad y calidad de los bienes y servicios que se producen al mismo tiempo reduce los costos; por el otro, incide en el abanico de opciones que los pymes otorgan a sus clientes para satisfacer sus necesidades y deseos con ofertas de calidad en un contexto de creciente competencia nacional y global.
En la presente investigación se evidenciaron cada uno de los componentes del mercado, lo cual dio como objetivo el análisis de los elementos más influyentes como es el caso de la Asociación de producción textil Telar de Oro, Asoprotexteo. El enfoque del estudio de mercado tuvo una metodología descriptiva incluyendo las encuestas reali-zadas a 89 personas de distintos estratos sociales de la ciudad de Machala, donde se plantearon preguntas en base a la ocupación del consumidor, oferta, demanda, precio y los canales de distribución. Además se comprobó que en el proceso de las ventas es fundamental conocer a los clientes, necesidades y su decisión de compra, de tal forma que la empresa llegue a tener éxito en las actividades comerciales. Se concluyó que la empresa al conocer el comportamiento de los consumidores estableció una comparación, análisis y relación de los resultados obtenidos, siendo así más fácil aplicar estrategias de mercado y fidelizar a sus consumidores.
