It is discussed how the current president Jair Bolsonaro, uses the Twitter to discuss, or not, ethics and democracy in a field of journalistic narratives. It aims to analyze, highlight and map the president's tweets during his first three months of government and reflect the phenomenon. Through a content analysis and reflections on the president's postings, who is also proud to use the social network to reverberate his ideas and information from his government, it is noted that he does not address issues about democracy and ethics in a literal way and even non-literal. In parallel, he accused the media and professionals of the press ratifying a way to inform about his government primarily by the social networks. Also discusses whether this is a new strategy of government and what it would assume of democracy and ethics, elements that form the conjuncture for the exercise of journalism.
