The densities and kinematic viscosities of the quinary liquid regular system octane(1)-hexane(2)-ethylbenzene(3)-cyclohexane(4)-toluene(5) and its five quaternary subsystems were measured at 293.15 K and 298.15 K. Pure component properties are in excellent agreement with their corresponding literature values. The kinematic viscosity data were employed to test some literature viscosity prediction models.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
