Six new polyketides acrucipentyns A–F (1–6) were isolated from the alga-derived fungus Asteromyces cruciatus KMM 4696. Their structures were established based on spectroscopic methods. The absolute configurations of some compounds were assigned by the modified Mosher’s method, ROESY data analysis, as well as biogenetic considerations. Acrucipentyns A–E were identified to be the very first examples of chlorine-containing asperpentyn-like compounds. The cytotoxic and antimicrobial activities of the isolated compounds were examined. Acrucipentyns A–F were found as antimicrobial agents, which inhibited sortase A enzyme activity, bacterial growth and biofilm formation of Staphylococcus aureus and decreased LDH release from human keratinocytes HaCaT in S. aureus skin infection in an in vitro model.
The article is devoted to the study of the normative and theological foundations of political power origin and belongs to the field of political theology research. Despite the narrow field of research, the work is devoted to the study of a separate aspect of social life as a whole. The study of the theological foundations of political power was carried out within the framework of the neoinstitutional methodological paradigm, taking into account the data of hermeneutic analysis, which is an applied aspect of the work. Political power is considered by the authors in the framework of a broader aspect - the ontology of the social, as part of the fundamental layer of being. The authors, within the framework of the theological paradigm, considered the main ontological concepts of the political, analyzed the correlation of key political concepts - "power", "authority", and "sovereign". Various positions on understanding the essence of political power, as well as on the origin of this phenomenon in the historical and theological key are considered, the points of view of both domestic and foreign experts are studied.
Being a complex dialectical interaction process for differently directed social centrifugal and centripetal movements, glocalization leads to a significant transformation of political being and consciousness (Chumakov, 2016). Being a natural reaction to the developing unification narrative, the localization and differentiation tendencies, on the other hand, become a causal basis of the struggle for overcoming differences. Both trends symbolize, within their frameworks, the basic values of each narrative and create their political mythologies, each of which has an impact on the collective stratum of consciousness and, as a consequence, on a certain model of socio-political behavior of individuals. Political "myths of global unity" lead the core constructions of political and social being - the nation and the state - to a decrease in their authority and legitimacy level; at the same time, the "mythology of difference", while preserving the dominant political values, reorients them to local manifestations, also losing their connection with the central elements of the political matter. Thus, special conflictual forms of development are formed in contemporary society and are conditioned by both real objective preconditions and artificially generated constructs. Socio-political being, therefore, is in a state of dialectical equilibrium and develops within the conflict paradigm.
The article is devoted to the study of the ontological and gnoseological aspects of the concept “political”, which received the greatest development in the political philosopher C. Schmitt’s works. Considering, first of all, the normative-institutional aspect of the conception under study, the author attempts to analyse modern multipolar political reality from the perspective of the explanatory model of the political by C. Schmitt. In addition to a high gnoseological potential, the topicality of turning to C. Schmitt’s works is also caused by the tendency to return to the institutional constructs of the classical period at the moment of disappointment over post-structuralist discourse that is not capable of creating effective theoretical models.
The article is devoted to studying the normative-theological foundations of the origin of the political and it belongs to the field of research of political theology. In the framework of the theological paradigm, the authors consider the main ontological concepts of the political, analyse the ratio of the key political notions - “power”, “authority”, “sovereign”. The key dichotomous unity of the “ordained by the God” and “established by the God”, which lies in the basis of the social phenomenon of power, is revealed. The paper correlates the institutional categories of “faces of power” - “potestas” and “auctoritas”.
