The study is aimed at studying energy security in the electricity sector and developing measures aimed at increasing the share of domestic innovative equipment. The paper analyzes indicators related to the amount of installed capacity, the output and commissioning of power equipment and the share of foreign equipment used. As a result of the analysis, an increase in equipment depreciation, a drop in the indicators of qualitative renewal of fixed assets, and a high share of foreign-made equipment were revealed. At the end of the study, measures were proposed that allow for a better policy in the field of import substitution and innovative development of the electric power complex.
The article deals with the problems of forming an effective system of marketing communications in port management as a concept that has a broader view of marketing activities than classical marketing. It was noted that in the current economic conditions the competitive position of the port depends not only on the volume of its products or turnover, but also on the perception of its activities by customers. In the article there are used such methods of scientific research as observation, analysis, systematization, forecasting. The analysis of the main researches and publications on questions of marketing communications is carried out. The system of marketing communications of the commercial seaport has been defined and the main groups of stakeholders associated with the transport business, with state institutions, as well as with wide groups of society, have been identified. It is noted that the management of marketing communications is becoming one of the important functions of the port administration and a list of its actions to implement this function has been determined. Based on the fact that the management of seaports pursues a wide range of marketing goals, an integrated approach was proposed to form relationships with stakeholders and interested groups in the targeted segments of port activities with the development of recommendations for the implementation of specific marketing actions for the objects of these targeted segments. It is noted that the formation of an effective system of marketing communications and interactions between the port administration and the main stakeholders, can stimulate synergies and economies through the integrated use of resources and opportunities for marketing activities. Further directions of scientific research in the field of efficiency of using the potential of communication marketing tools in port management are determined. In particular, the necessity to use quantitative approaches to solving the problem of linking the optimization of marketing communications with increasing the efficiency of port management and its competitiveness.
The article aims at developing approaches to the formation of an efficient system of legal regulation of the transport services market. It is established that to create an efficient system of legal regulation of the transport services market, it is necessary to formulate and consolidate the main provisions of the national transport policy. It is proposed to provide for certain specifics that combine state regulation and supervision of transport activities with the contractual principle of the transport services and works provision. It is determined that, according to the general rule, transport obligations should be based on the freedom-of-contract doctrine. In this case, the parties will always have the autonomy of will in deciding whether to enter or not into a contractual relationship, except for the cases where the services are provided by public transport and mediated by a public contract.
Purpose In today’s world, the prevention and detection of corruption offences are becoming increasingly important. The most important tasks are to create an intolerant public attitude towards this phenomenon, to monitor it in dynamics and to develop new ways of combating it, responding to the development and improvement of criminal techniques. The purpose of this paper is to study the practice of introducing e-customs, the possible prospects related to the creation of an intellectual customs office. Design/methodology/approach An analytical method was used, including the study of scientific literature and publications, current legislation, statistics, customs plans and practices and foreign experience. Findings It is indicated that the variability of the nature and methods of committing crimes in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution makes it appropriate to formulate corruption as a formal offence. Practical implications This study may be of use to students and academics, as well as practitioners in customs, law enforcement agencies and legislative bodies. Originality/value Suggestions have been made to improve approaches to planning work towards digitalisation in the customs sector, in terms of analysing and considering the potential for corruption-proneness and anti-corruption potential of innovations, exploring the use of blockchain for conducting procedures, maintaining registers and other record-keeping systems.
