+This paper has considered improving the management of energy consumption by a photovoltaic system with a storage device for a local object connected to the network. The aim of the study is to reduce expenditures when paying for electricity consumed from the network, when loading an object, independent of the time of year, and to eliminate energy generation to the grid. An energy generation control algorithm has been improved whereby the state of battery charge during the day is based on a forecast. That could reduce electricity consumption at night with better utilization of rechargeable battery and photovoltaic battery power during the day. It is proposed to use autonomous operation by disconnecting from the network during peak tariff hours and during the day with enough energy generation by a photovoltaic battery. This would ensure the normal functioning of an object in the event of a possible deterioration in the quality of voltage in the network while reducing the loss of energy in the inverter. Predictive control of the expected battery charge at the next checkpoint (at 0.5 hours or less between control points) has been proposed. A control system structure has been developed whereby a rechargeable battery current is set depending on an operational mode, the tariff zone, and the projected generation by a photovoltaic battery while reducing the modulation frequency under an autonomous mode. In this case, the modes are switched and the structure is changed taking into consideration the state of battery charge. Simulation in the daily cycle has shown the possibility of reducing the cost of electricity consumed from the network by 1.7‒8 times at two or three tariff rates. Simulation of electromagnetic processes in the system confirms acceptable regulation indicators when switching the structure, as well as a decrease in the energy loss in an inverter under an autonomous mode by up to 40 %
Photovoltaic grid-connected system of local object with a battery when using a grid inverter with an "open" input is presented. The expediency of the structure of the converter unit use equipped by controllers of a photoelectric battery and battery with independent (external) control and the possibility of charging the battery from the grid is substantiated. It expands the possibilities of energy generation and distribution control in the power supply system of a local object with several tariff zones using an intelligent energy management system in all operating modes including autonomous. The structure of the power control channel is developed, while it is possible to use a standard MPPT controller to control the generation of a photovoltaic battery. The simulation model of the system is developed. The simulation results are given. References 9, figures 4.
Purpose. Improving the efficiency of a hybrid photoelectric system with a rechargeable battery for the needs of the local object by improving the management of the forecast with simulation of energy processes in the system, development of principles for the implementation of energy management systems.Methodology. Analysis of energy processes in the electrical circuits of the photoelectric system with the formalization of the principles of control reconfiguration and the use of computer modeling based on archival data of photoelectric battery generation to evaluate the efficiency of energy management.Findings. Block structures and the general structure of the model of energy processes in the system for the daily cycle of work with an estimation of the cost of electricity consumed from the grid have been developed. The principles of control modes and power consumption of the system according to the forecast of photoelectric battery generation were formalized.Originality. The principles of setting the battery current according to the forecast of photoelectric energy generation, the state of battery charge and the power limit consumed from the grid have been improved. It will help to make better use of the energy of the photoelectric battery and reduce the consumption of electricity from the grid. The mathematical model of the rechargeable battery, built on the manufacturer's catalog data has been improved. The formalization of energy processes in the system with the use of additional variables, which provide reconfiguration of work with regulation of photoelectric battery generation or battery current and taking into account the power limit consumed from the grid is substantiated.Practical value. The obtained solutions are the basis for designing photoelectric control systems to meet the needs of local objects.
