The article presents a new design of a hinged and sectional working body and substantiates its optimal parameters for ensuring the movement of loose materials along curvilinear routes. Analytical dependencies have been derived to determine the rational design and power parameters of the hinged-sectional working body, and the functional dependencies of the minimum permissible radius of curvature of the RC technological highway on the angular rotation of adjacent sections and their design parameters have been established. The axial speed and power of cargo transportation by the articulated-sectional working body of the screw conveyor along a curved route have been determined. Experimental studies have been conducted to determine the influence of the number of revolutions, the height of material lifting and the radius of curvature of the flexible helical sectional working body RC on the torque T, as well as the determination of the influence of the number of revolutions n, the filling factor of the main line ψ and the diameter of the main line D on the performance Q when transporting loose materials.
The development of the market of international road freight transport directly depends on the use of innovative technologies in the processes of transportation, logistics, physical distribution, due to the implementation of the concept of Industry 4.0. This leads to the need to restructure the stereotypes of transport operation and the rapid introduction of modern technologies in the activities of motor transport enterprises in order to increase the economic efficiency of their operation. The article is devoted to the research of ways to increase the economic efficiency of the functioning of motor transport enterprises of Ternopil region in the segment of international road transport. A comprehensive analysis of the activities of international freight carriers registered in the Ternopil region, which revealed the key factors influencing the efficiency of their operation in the modern economy. According to the results of the survey of international carriers of Ternopil region, the factors influencing the efficiency of transportation were selected and structured, divided into external and internal, and they, in turn, were divided into positive and negative. The algorithm of economically justified choice of strategy of the motor transport enterprise, considering its current economic condition is made. It is recommended during the substantiation to use an enlarged set of mathematical models for determining the criterion of efficiency, in accordance with the current economic condition of the trucking company. The expediency of forming a database of methodological approaches and models for determining the economic efficiency of transportation, in particular in international traffic, is determined. The examples illustrate the selection of methods for determining the criterion of economic efficiency of transportation in accordance with the current state of the trucking company, during the reasonable choice of strategy.
The development of modern transport system connected with intensification of competitive struggle against the background of digitalization of transport processes requires domestic road carriers to find effective methods of increasing their own competitiveness in the international market of transport services. The article is devoted to the ways of increasing the competitiveness of domestic road transport enterprises in the segment of international road freight transport. Scientific approaches of interpretation of the term competitiveness of motor transport enterprises in terms of marketing, management, resource provision and profitability are considered. On the basis of the conducted review, a vision of competitiveness of motor transport enterprises in the segment of international cargo transportation is offered. Scientific researches devoted to the influence of management, marketing logistic methods on the competitiveness of motor transport enterprises are highlighted. The authors have compared scientific views on the choice and grouping of the factors of influence on the competitiveness of domestic motor transport enterprises and have offered the grouping of factors of influence on the competitiveness according to the possibility of their quantitative assessment. Existing methods for assessing the competitiveness of road transport enterprises were characterized. Modern tendencies of digital technologies implementation in transport systems activity have been investigated and the necessity of their implementation in the activity of domestic motor transport enterprises in the segment of international motor cargo transportations has been proved. The basic problems that hinder the implementation of modern digital technologies in the activities of domestic enterprises in the segment of international road freight transport haulage are formulated. Ways of improving the competitiveness of domestic enterprises in the segment of international road freight transport in today’s business environment have been proposed.
