Mathematical model of solid phase diffusive release during dissolving of capsulated spherical particle has been developed. The adequacy of the model to experimental data obtained for different compounds has been checked. Keywords: mathematical model, capsulated particle, release kinetics.
We have carried out research on multi-stage handling of polyethylene terephthalate and polystyrene household waste. The method has been developed for both their safe utilization in manufacturing technologies and the use of encapsulated mineral fertilizers. The technical feasibility of implementing all stages of plastic waste processing has been defined: separate collection, creation of a film-forming composition, encapsulation of granular fertilizers. Our study has confirmed the safe biodegradation of polymer shell residues in the soil environment after the dissolution of the fertilizers. The proposed method of handling of these wastes is a method of their safe utilization.
Abstract.1 The dissolving process of benzoic acid polydisperse mixture in the gas-liquid flow has been examined. On the basis of criterial dependence and the theory of local isotropic turbulence the mass-transfer coefficient was determined experimentally and theoretically and their values were compared. Theoretical calculation of polydisperse mixture dissolution was performed during periodic dissolution under variable driving force. Theoretical and experimental results were compared.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
