The article presents the results of the usage efficiency of broilers of non-conventional raw materials of vegetable dry beet pulp, which has a positive impact on the physiological characteristics of poultry and quality indicators of meat. The research was carried out at the premises of the educational and scientific poultry farm of Belgorod State Agricultural University. For the experiment, 140 daily chickens were selected and four groups (peer groups) were formed: one control group and 3 experimental groups of 35 heads each. Duration of the scientific and economic experiment -41 days. The control group received the basic diet (BD). Chickens of all the experimental groups received the basic diet from 1 to 20 days. In 21-41 days, chickens of the 1st experimental group were fed 98% BD and 2% of the dry pulp, 2nd group -96% BD and 4% of dry pulp, while 3d experimental group -95% BD and 5% of dry pulp. As a result of the research, it was found that the use of dry beet pulp (replacement of 4% BD) in the diets of broiler chickens has a positive impact on their productivity and the quality of meat products. When it is included in the diet, the feed costs per unit of output are reduced. By replacing the basic diet with dry pulp, the authors significantly reduce the cost of feed, which leads to an increase in profitability by 4.7%.
In a number of experiments, adding of Elevit feed additive in the amount of 100, 150, 200, or 250 grams per day to the basic ration of breeding boars helps to increase sperm production by 5.0, 8.6, 11.9, and 11.1% in comparison with the control group of boars. In the boars of experimental groups, qualitative parameters of sperm increased as following: sperm resistance by 6.6, 8.1, 12.3, and 11.9%; the ability of sperm cell to live outside the body by 6.0, 6.7, 7.4, and 8.1% in comparison with the control group.Adding this drug at the dose of 50, 100, 150, and 200 g to the basic diet of sows during the period of their preparation to insemination has a favorable effect on increasing the following parameters: sexual heat by 5.0, 10.0, 10.0, and 10.0%; productive insemination by 1.0, 7.1, 1.9, and 7.1%; number of piglets in a litter by 2.8, 6.6, 7.6, and 5.7% in comparison with the control group.
The use of sprouted barley grain for an adult poultry of a parent flock of meat production is of scientific and practical interest. According to the research methodology, we formed 4 groups of experimental birds, at the age of 140 days, 10 chickens and 10 cockerels in each. The test period lasted 280 days. The poultry of the control group received a standard complete feed containing barley grains in an amount of 20% by weight of the compound feed, in accordance with the adopted feeding scheme. Poultry of groups 2,3,4 received in addition to the main diet sprouted barley grain in the amount of 20 g per head. In this experiment, the question of the effectiveness of using sprouted grain, depending on the feeding regime, was considered. A positive trend was revealed when feeding sprouted grain in addition to a complete feed, in the evening.
