The stability of economic development is determined by the features of the network structure in collaborative engagement of enterprises. Industrial cooperation is just one part of that process; it differs in spatial coverage and range of activity. The complexity of taking into account the synergistic effect that arises in this case stresses the importance of this question from the theoretical and practical points of view. For this purpose, the paper considers the essence of industrial cooperation, some approaches to agglomerative tendencies and conceptual visions of cooperation from the standpoint of institutional theory. The investigation of the influence of cooperation on economic growth is based on several hypotheses. The first one is about the positive correlation between the studied parameters; the second one is about the fact that protection of institutional property rights is an important factor in cooperation development. These theories have been studied within the frame of loglinear model using the table of data about 20 European countries for the forecast period of 2017-2021. The results show that the mature system of industrial cooperation allows providing an additional economic growth at the level of 2.3-3.0%. It is also important to conclude that cooperation enhances the factor impact of the usual determinants of economic growth (working labor, capital and export). The model also takes into account some other possible determinants of economic growth such as expenses on research and development, use of a right of intellectual property and the Index of Economic Freedom. At the same time, a lax regulation in the sphere of property rights protection can become an incentive for co-operators. These and some other provisions determine the ways of enhancing of activity of enterprises for their close collaboration; it is emphasized that the development of co-operational relations has a great impact on competitiveness and sustainability.
The paper looks at the phenomenon of fake news in the modern media. Attempts have been made to provide the theoretical background of the phenomenon of fabricating information and clarify the signs of false messages. The empirical review deals with the trends in spreading fake news in the media landscape. We rank fake news topics by popularity; examine the issues of changing public trust in various news media as a source of information; structure the sources of misinformation and identify the major motives behind them; and discuss positive and negative outcomes of posting fake news. The study shows that propaganda is effective if society receives customized information that triggers the expected emotional response of the target audience. For these purposes, the article establishes the fundamental mechanisms for using fake news. The research presents the criteria for identifying fake news and develops its classification according to the degree of falsity. The generalization conducted makes it possible to conceptualize the phenomenon of fake news. The research results aim to resolve the problem of recognizing and controlling fake news in the mass media.
The article considers the peculiarities of the mechanism of public-private partnership. An important problem of the research is to find an optimal ratio in the investment distribution when the arising positive externalities are maximized. In the critical literature review, the assumption was made that the balance between the market and state methods of regulation allows reaching the sustainable growth from the point of view of the use of resources. This hypothesis is developed in the analysis of the multiplicative effect through the index of GDP investment capacity. The research approach is based upon the study of the regression dependencies: multidimensional optimization is solved by the method of configurations with performing the iteration procedure. The obtained results show that the state contribution into the total investment potential of the projects of public-private partnership is traditionally low. The maximal investment capacity of the economy can be reached when maintaining the structure of investment distribution at the ratio 0.09/0.91 for the public and private sectors, respectively. The practical use of the optimization model allows to introduce the flexible mechanism of coordination of the terms of project financing.
Educational media resources are becoming increasingly popular. This actualizes the issues of identifying their role and significance in the educational process, typology, and classification of resources. The methodological basis of this study is an interdisciplinary approach. Based on a review of the literature, the constituent and functional components of an open digital educational environment are identified. The effects arising in the process of informatization of the educational environment are analyzed. It is proved that a new generation of educational media resources is formed as a result of the evolution of traditional learning management systems and their convergence with the principles of open education. This paper describes applications and online services designed to enrich the intellectual potential of participants in the educational process. The authors' classification of educational media resources is presented in the study. The following characteristics were selected as the defining features for the classification of educational media resources: the technical form of resources, level of user training, user group, type of ownership, type of content, distribution technology, nature of user interaction, specifics. The main functions of an open multimedia educational environment are highlighted, which include compatibility and integration, personalization, analytics, collaboration, accessibility, and universal design. The opportunities for media resources in ensuring the continuity of modern education are revealed. General recommendations on the use of new media in the pedagogical process are given.
