O processo de criação do Mosaico de Unidades de Conservação do Jacupiranga foi uma solução inédita no Estado de São Paulo, cuja análise nos remete a importantes impactos na conservação e nas comunidades rurais envolvidas. Se consideradas as características do antigo Parque Estadual de Jacupiranga (PEJ), com os equívocos da sobreposição em áreas com comunidades residentes; a presença de 8.000 habitantes em mais de 40 bairros rurais em seu perímetro; os conflitos socioambientais e disputas territoriais; a falta de recursos financeiros e humanos na gestão, constata-se que a criação do Mosaico foi a melhor alternativa para mediação dos conflitos existentes, desenvolvimento de estratégias para conservação da área e acesso à terra. Se, por um lado, a criação do antigo Parque Estadual de Jacupiranga seguiu o pressuposto da separação entre sociedade e natureza, a criação do Mosaico vem desencadeando um processo de diálogo e de contextos de participação das comunidades, possibilitando a construção de acordos e consensos para um ordenamento territorial que viabilize a conservação e o desenvolvimento rural local. De território do medo para território de direitos, trabalho e cidadania: este é o desafio que vive agora o Mosaico de Unidades de Conservação do Jacupiranga e que esta pesquisa analisou por meio da metodologia de trabalho de campo, descrição contextualizada e a observação participante.
Cette étude présente une analyse du processus de reclassement de Parc à Mosaïque d’Aires Protegées du Parc Régional Jacupiranga (MOJAC), situé dans l’État de São Paulo, en rapport avec les conceptions de conservation préconisées par les principes de l'Écologie du Paysage. Pour la réalisation de l’analyse, l'état de la connectivité structurel du paysage entre les unités d’aires protégées et les aires d'utilisation durable du MOJAC a été identifié. L'Inventaire forestier de l’État de São Paulo a été utilisé pour la réalisation d’une cartographie de la couverture et de l’occupation du sol par photo-interprétation d’images datées des années 2000 et 2001, à l'échelle de 1: 35.000. Les métriques du paysage calculées pour les classes groupées de la couverture et l’occupation du sol comprennent la superficie totale et le pourcentage de chaque classe et le nombre de taches. L'état de conservation du MOJAC et l'identification des régions les plus vulnérables à la fragmentation ont été analysés. Le reclassement de la cartographie et le calcul des métriques ont été faits en utilisant le logiciel ArcGIS 9.3. Il a été conclu que la proposition de Mosaïque ne comporte pas de risques pour la conception de conservation, puisque la structure du paysage conservée indique des connexions potentielles pour le déplacement des espèces dans le paysage qui n’a pas été fragmenté, assurant ainsi la préservation des grands fragments. Les Aires protégées d'utilisation durable sont recommandés pour des projets d'agroécologie et de récupération des zones dépourvues de couverture forestière.
Foi realizado um estudo florístico e fitossociológico em áreas no Parque Estadual do Rio Turvo, Cajati, SP (77°89ʹ42ʺ N e 72°49ʹ22ʺ W), uma área de restauração com três anos em bananal abandonado (Rest 3) e outra área de restauração com cinco anos em pastagem degradada (Rest 5). Em cada área foram instaladas seis parcelas de 100 m2, analisando-se diâmetro e altura de todos os indivíduos com altura superior a 50 cm e fazendo-se amostragem de solos para fertilidade na profundidade 0 – 20 cm. A estrutura da comunidade foi descrita a partir dos estimadores fitossociológicos: frequência relativa, dominância relativa e valor de importância. A diversidade foi calculada pelo índice de Shannon e equabilidade pelo índice de Pielou. Na Rest 5 foram registrados 2.117 ind ha-1 (18 famílias e 39 espécies) e na Rest 3 foram 4.650 ind ha-1 (21 famílias e 54 espécies). Os parâmetros fitossociológicos refletem áreas em processos iniciais de sucessão secundária, caracterizando-se o uso anterior como bananal em um ambiente mais favorável para o desenvolvimento das espécies plantadas e estabelecimento de propágulos.
RESUMO-O presente estudo, realizado entre 2008 e 2013 na região do Vale do Ribeira, Estado de São Paulo, analisou o nível de participação dos ocupantes no processo de criação e gestão do Mosaico de Unidades de Conservação do Jacupiranga e o contexto territorial originado pelas Unidades de Conservação-UCs de proteção integral e de uso sustentável criadas. Utilizou-se como método a análise documental e da cobertura florestal nas UCs e a pesquisa participante, com a realização de 167 entrevistas em campo, utilizando questionários semi-estruturados, com perguntas abertas. Conclui-se que a criação do Mosaico do Jacupiranga proporcionou categorias de UCs apropriadas à cobertura florestal existente e a ocupação humana e a sua implantação contribui para a redução dos conflitos socioambientais relativos ao uso do território para as comunidades que vivem nas áreas recategorizadas.
