Mobile holographic lidar for remote determination of quantitative characteristics of gas and aerosol air pollution with high accuracy and space resolution is proposed. Differences in reflectivity of liquid and solid particles give a possibility to form polarization holograms and observe liquid and solid aerosols separately. Quantitative analysis of composition and concentration of particles observed in their holographic images is characterized by high level of sensitivity. Determination of gas pollution composition and concentration is performed by the spectral analysis of scattered signals.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
