User authentication is one of the most significant issues in the field of Information Security. The most common and convenient authentication method used is the alphanumeric password which has significant drawbacks. To overcome the vulnerabilities of traditional methods, graphical password schemes have been developed as possible alternative solutions to text-based scheme. A potential drawback of graphical password schemes is that they are more vulnerable to shoulder surfing than conventional alphanumeric text passwords due to their visual interface. To overcome the shortcoming of existing graphical password schemes this project focuses on developing a graphical authentication system that is resistant to shoulder surfing attack.
Nigeria is currently going through a period of economic stagnation. There is unemployment among the educated and illiterate workforce in large numbers. Tertiary institutions reacted to this challenge by teaching students entrepreneurship courses at the undergraduate level. The entrepreneurship courses offered aimed at creating small business owners so as to reduce the dependence on white collar jobs. This study examined the role of entrepreneurship education in small business startups among the past students of University of Ibadan (UI) who took the course on Basic Entrepreneurship Education (ETR 301). The course aimed to fill the gap between entrepreneurship education and ability to be an entrepreneur. Former University of Ibadan students who had taken the course on entrepreneurship were surveyed using Google Forms. The results showed that entrepreneurship education as provided through the course ETR 301 has significant influence on entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurial skills of university students, therefore, should be sustained.
Websites are created using programming languages such as HTML or content management systems (CMS). There are various technologies supporting the development of websites such as content management systems, JavaScript and ASP, thus numerous types of websites exist. Users access these websites through mobile devices and desktop systems. These users require access to websites that are easy to load, display content on small screens and have fast page loading speed. The existing web management systems are deficient in regards to meeting the needs of mobile device users. Thus, the aim of this project is to develop a template design package that will allow customized website access for mobile devices. The package utilized an existing web content management system platform called Joomla for the development while using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach. The tested package showed compatibility on mobile devices with positive results.
