The aims of this study were (1) to find out how to develop the CAD Richpeace Grading System media for making home dress patterns at the Fashion Design Study Program, Medan State University. (2) Knowing the feasibility of CAD Richpeace Grading System media in making home dress patterns at the Fashion Design Study Program, Medan State University. This research is development research (R&D). The development model used in this study is the ADDIE development framework. The validation results by material experts obtained a score of 84.8% in the good category and the validation results by media experts obtained a score of 87.72% in the very good category. Small group trials were conducted on 8 students of the fashion design education study program. student assessment results in small group trials of 80.60% with good criteria. Group trials are being carried out by 16 students obtaining 85.23% in the very good category. Next is the large group tryout which was conducted on 32 students of the fashion education study program with the results of the student assessment in the large group test being 88.19% with very good criteria. From the results of the assessment of media experts, material experts, small group and large group trials, it can be concluded that the Cad Richpeace Grading System media developed for making home clothes for garment businesses is very suitable for use as learning media and can help students to understand the material and understand steps in making home fashion patterns with a digital grading system.
This study aims to develop a learning model of UIS weaving based on the relevant Karo cultural values in schools. The research uses research and development through the Borg and Gall model development approach. The research subjects were the teachers and students of the Vocational School (SMK) Negeri 1 Berastagi where the research was conducted. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The data analysis technique used a qualitative descriptive technique. The research findings can be described as follows. First, the relevant Uis Karo weaving learning model used for the cultivation of Karo cultural values is Carl Rogers' version of the nondirective learning model. Second, modification and adjustment of this learning model are carried out so that it can be used to instill Karo's cultural values, especially those related to the format of the lesson plan. Third, teachers can carry out Uis Karo weaving learning using a non-directive model for planting Karo cultural values by the applicable curriculum in schools while still paying attention to the Karo regional government policy regarding the development of a Karo ethnic-based curriculum. The results of the study found that noble values formulated in various expressions need to be given to students, among others; Uis Karo is a culture of the Karo tribe. Uis Karo is a set of traditional clothes used in cultural activities. Uis (cloth) means clothing in Karo so that its development has made uis into various types, styles, and functions. Uis is made from cotton, spun, and woven manually using looms instead of machines. The composition of the yarn as the basic material for Uis uses cotton yarn with natural dyes, but some also use factory fabrics that are dyed with chemical dyes. Some of this uis are rare because they are no longer used in everyday life, or are only used in cultural ritual activities related to animist beliefs and are no longer practiced.
Riset ini dilakukan untuk menentukan kelayakan media pembelajaran yang telah dirancang dengan menggunakan media videoscribe pada materi pelajaran sanggul ukel tekuk jogya putri. Jenis riset yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Dalam riset ini, objek pemeriksaannya adalah materi pelajaran sanggul ukel tekuk jogya putri yang dikembangkan menggunakan media videoscribe. Dan subjek riset ini yaitu peserta didik kelas XI Tata Kecantikan SMK Pariwisata Imelda Medan. Hasil penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran menujukkan bahwa media pembelajaran benar-benar dapat dimanfaatkan baik dari segi pembelajaran, materi maupun tampilan program. Kemungkinan adanya media pembelajaran Videoscribe pada mata pelajaran pengantin tradisional dan pada materi sanggul ukel tekuk Jogya Putri tergantung dari penilaian 3 validator ahli materi dan 3 validator ahli media. Hasil evaluasi umum dari ahli materi dengan taraf 92,22% dengan ukuran “sangat baik” dan ahli media dengan taraf 88,52% dengan ukuran “sangat baik”. Terlebih lagi, dapat diduga bahwa media pembelajaran videoscribe yang dibuat sepenuhnya layak digunakan untuk mata pelajaran. Pengantin Tradisional khususnya pada materi Sanggul Ukel Tekuk Jogya Putri.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan media cetak, mengetahui pemilihan kosmetik, dan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media cetak terhadap pemilihan kosmetik pada guru – guru SMK Negeri 1 Berastagi. Pada penelitian ini sampel adalah guru-guru SMK Negeri 1 Berastagi sebanyak 30 orang. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket digunakan untuk mengumpul data penggunaan media cetak (X) dan pemilihan kosmetik (Y). Sebelum penelitian dilakukan, instrument penelitian yaitu angket yang disusun oleh peneliti terlebih dahulu di ujicobakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penggunaan media cetak pada guru –guru SMK Negeri 1 Berastagi cenderung cukup, sedangkan tingkat kecenderungan pemilihan kosmetik pada guru –guru SMK Negeri 1 Berastagi cenderung kurang. Uji normalitas data menggunakan rumus chi – kuadrat pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan dk=5, diperoleh variabel penggunaan media cetak berdistribusi normal, karena χ2hitung < χ2tabel (4,75 < 11,070) dan variabel pemilihan kosmetik berdistribusi normal, karena χ2hitung < χ2tabel (10,87 < 11,1). Sedangkan uji linieritas dan uji keberartian persamaan regresi, Y = 110,96 + 135,87X mempunyai hubungan yang linier pada taraf signifikan 5% karena untuk uji linier Fhitung < Ftabel (0,217 < 2,39) dan koefisien arah regresi Y atas X adalah berarti karena Fhitung > Ftabel (8,81 > 4,20 ). Hasil analisis korelasi diperoleh rxy sebesar 0,987 sedangkan nilai rtabel pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan N= 30 sebesar 0,361. Dengan demikian rxy > rtabel (0,987 > 0,361). Dengan mengkonsultasikan harga ttabel terhadap thitung terlihat bahwa harga thitung > ttabel (32,47 > 1,701). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Penggunaan Media Cetak Terhadap Pemilihan Kosmetik Pada Guru – Guru SMK Negeri 1 Berastagi.
