The purpose of this study are: 1. Describe the activities of researchers in carrying out group counseling services with behavior contract techniques in reducing the dysfunctional academic procrastination of students of class XI MIPA 2 Senior High School 1 Jakenan, 2. Reducing the dysfunctional behavior of academic procrastination after getting counseling group behavior counseling services for students class XI MIPA 2 SMAN 1 Jakenan. This research was designed using the guidance and counseling action research (PTBK) with the subject of 8 students of class XI MIPA 2 of SMAN 1 Jakenan who have dysfunctional problems of academic procrastination. This type of research is Guidance and Counseling Action Research. Subjects studied were students of class XI MIPA 2 of SMAN 1 Jakenan, as many as 8 students who had dysfunctional academic procrastination behavior Dysfunctional academic procrastination in students can be reduced after group counseling services are provided with a behavior contract technique. This is evident from the pre cycle results obtained an average of 21 with a very high category. While the first cycle obtained an average score of 35 with enough categories. In the second cycle the second cycle obtained a score of 49 with a very low category. So as to experience an increase of 28 scores from pre-cycle to cycle II, meaning that students do not delay in starting and completing assignments, do not postpone reading learning notes, do not do time assignments, do no other activities that are more fun, have a sense of academic responsibility , do not fear being wrong about the task at hand is very low.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan program bimbingan kelompok untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengelola stress. Stres merupakan gejala harian yang wajar dan pasti dialami oleh setiap individu, yang dapat berdampak baik terhadap aspek fisik maupun psikis. Stres dapat mempengaruhi perilaku seseorang, tergantung bagaimana ia menghadapi kondisi yang menimbulkan stres. Dengan demikian, stres dapat menimbulkan reaksi yang berbeda pada tiap individu. Bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik mind mapping patut diduga bahwa kemampuan mengelola stres siswa akan meningkat. Hal ini disebabkan karena peta pikiran memungkinkan penggunaan unsur-unsur kreativitas seperti gambar, bentuk, warna, dan lainnya dalam membentuk representasi mental. Sebagai contoh, catatan materi bimbingan kelompok yang dimiliki siswa dapat dituangkan ke dalam mind mapping melalui gambar, simbol, warna.
The lives of the majority of students are currently absorbed by activities in social media such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter, and the others that allow a wide variety of both positive and negative information for the development in life and career selection activities. The purpose of this study is to find out how much the preference or tendency for students to use social media as a media literacy in career selection is. This article will reveal important data on the role of social media in influencing a student's career decision making. The research method used was a multistage random sampling technique involving 250 students from vocational high schools in Kudus Regency. The results of this study indicate that 61% of students use social media to find information that is used to consider advanced career selection. Meanwhile, the rest 12% chose a career based on their understanding of talent, 14% chose a career because of the opinions from parents or siblings, and 13% followed their friends and closest friends. This shows that social media have a significant role in helping students determine the future of their careers.
This study aims to: (1) describe the factors that influence students' anxiety in facing online learning in students at SMPN 2 Gebog Kudus (2) Overcoming students' anxiety facing online learning through Rational Emotive Therapy counseling with systematic desensitization techniques at SMPN 2 Gebog Kudus. The subjects studied were 2 class VIII students of SMP N 2 Gebog Kudus who experienced anxiety in facing online learning. The method of data collection uses the method of observation, interviews, and documentation which is carried out in depth so that later it will get accurate results on the problems studied by the author. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that counselees experience anxiety in facing online learning which is characterized by not understanding the material, fear of online assignments, lack of concentration in learning, experiencing obstacles in learning, and fear of not going to class. To assist counselees in overcoming anxiety in facing online learning, rational emotive therapy counseling is given with systematic desensitization techniques. By using rational emotive therapy counseling, systematic desensitization techniques can produce behavioral changes in clients to be able to understand the material, not afraid of assignments, able to concentrate on learning, have no learning barriers, and believe that they can go to class.
This study aims to: 1) Knowing the factors of Positive Communication in UMK students. 2) Describe the application of Behavioristic Counseling with Self Control Techniques to improve Positive Communication for UMK Students. The subjects studied were UMK students in semester VIII. Methods of data collection using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be said that there are three factors that cause deviant behavior in positive communication between MIS and AS, namely socio-economic, socio-cultural and self-image. After providing counseling with a behavioristic approach with self-control techniques, the MIS research subject can overcome controlling himself in the boarding house, then the counselee will be able to apply self-control in his daily life independently without the help of a directing counselor. AS research subjects are able to control themselves not to follow their friends' quotes as a form of behavior Self-control about behavior management and counseling techniques are very appropriate to overcome deviant behavior in positive communication.
