This article describes the development of the integration of religion and science in Islamic higher education institutions in Indonesia. The focus of this discussion is the integrated religion and science curriculum at special pesantren (Islamic boarding school) for university students. The aim is to find the implementation of the model of the integrative curriculum of religion and science at special pesantren for university students (hereafter referred to as PESMA). This study uses the constant comparative method. This article concludes that the integrative curriculum of PESMA of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is currently a new model in Indonesia. The model of THE integrative curriculum of PESMA of UIN (State Islamic University) is different than that of other PESMA in Indonesia. The development of the curriculum was triggered by the conversion of IAIN (State Islamic Institute) to UIN, and the development of general study programs at the university. This factor can complement the model of the integrative curriculum at Islamic higher education institutions and become an integration laboratory in Indonesia, according to Azyumardi Azra, Amin Abdullah, and Salahuddin Wahid.
Tujuan peneIitian ini untuk menguji karakteristik Campuran Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) Kasar dengan memanfaatkan Sungai Sa’dan Kelurahan Pangli Kecamatan Sesean Kabupaten Toraja Utara dari hasil penelitian laboratorium.Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini ialah membuat beberapa uji karakteristik yang berwujud material aggregat kasar, halus, filer serta aspal yang kemudiam membuat rancangan komposisi lalu benda uji dibuat dalam bentuk campuran beraspal panas Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) Kasar dan kemudian melakukan Marshall test untuk mendapatkan Stabilitas Marshal sisa (SMS) menggunakan K.A.O. Adapun penelitian ini dilaksanakan di laboratorium Jalan dan Aspal Fakultas Teknik Sipil Universitas Kristen Indonesia Paulus Makassar, yang memberikan hasil Karakteristik material perkerasan berupa Batu Sungai Sa’dan Kelurahan Pangli Kec.Sesean Kab. Toraja Utara telah memenuhi Spesifikasi standar Bina Marga 2018 yang dapat digunakan dalam campuran beraspal panas. Melalui uji Marshall didapatkan karakteristik Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) Kasar dengan kadar aspal 6,00, hingga 7,00% dengan kenaikan 0,25%. 7,00% adalah K.A.O yang digunakan pada Marshall Immersion campuran SMA dan diperoleh Stabilitas Marshal Sisa (SMS) sebesar 97,53% dimana nilai ini sesuai dengan Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga 2018 yaitu minimal 90%.
Sungai Sa’dan di Pangli Kecamatan Sesean, adalah salah satu Sungai di Kabupaten Toraja Utara yang memiliki sumber batu yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan perkerasan jalan. Namun, material belum pernah diuji secara labotarium sebagai salah satu persyaratan untuk dapat digunakan sebagai material untuk perkerasan jalan utamanya campuran Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan batu sungai Sa’dan sebagai campuran Stone Matrix Asphalt Halus menggunakan variasi kadar aspal 6.00%, 6.25%, 6.50%, 6.75% dan 7.00%. Spesifikasi yang digunakan adalah Spsifikasi Bina Marga 2018 Divisi 6 Revis1 1. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian Batu dari sungai Sa’dan kelurahan Pangli Kecamatan Sesean Kabupaten Toraja Utara dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan untuk campuran Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) halus. Kadar aspal yang dapat digunakan pada pencampuran ini, dapat menggunakan kadar aspal antara 6% sampai dengan 7% namun untuk mendapatkan campuran yang lebih kedap air dapat menggunakan kadar aspal 7%. Hasil uji marshall immersion dengan menggunakan kadar aspal 7% adalah 96,30%, hal ini menunjukkan campuran tersebut akan tahan terhadap perendaman selama 24 jam.
The main purpose of this study was to facilitate decisions concerning the effectiveness of modifiers in mitigating pavement distress and improving long-term overall pavement performance in actual field conditions, by utilizing shortterm laboratory results and a mathematical prediction model. The modifiers investigated were carbon black, neoprenc latex, and polymer modified asphalt (STYRELF). The statistical general linear model (GLM) and the Fisher least significant difference (LSD) were used for the analysis of data. The results of the study indicate that the effect of the modifier on the paving mixture properties was insignificant at low temperatures (down to -17°C). but significant at high temperatures (up to 60°C) where the synergistic effect of the modifier on the paving mixture was pronounced. The VESYS IIIA pavement performance prediction model was utilized to assess the effects, if any, of the modifier on the pavement's overall performance. Thematic learning has provided an integrated and convergent approach to the learning process by classroom teachers. This approach has brought students closer to the world and their surroundings. However, it can also cause new classroom issues when the learning topic involves sensitive issues, such as traditions and religious ritual practices. This research focuses on how to manage the values of local wisdom (LW) and religious moderation (RM) in thematic learning, and the students' literacy level on LW and RM-based thematic learning management. It is a case study with an in-depth interview with madrasah leaders and classroom teachers followed by observation and documentation study. It reveals that LW and RM-based thematic learning management has been shifted from the conventional approach to the functional integrative thematic approach. At the same time, students become aware of the differences and similarities regarding LW and RM that they respect one another.
