Maintainability is an essential software quality factor that is useless if it is not available at an initial stage in the software development life cycle. It becomes more important in the case of object oriented design. Estimating maintainability of object oriented design near the beginning in the development cycle, mainly at design phase; significantly reduce the development cost and rework, and as well as assists the software designers and developers for delivering high quality maintainable software within time and budget. This paper illustrates the need and significance of maintainability at design phase and build up a multivariate linear Maintainability Estimation Model for Object-Oriented Design. Developed model estimates the maintainability of class diagrams in respect of their Extendibility, Reusability. Lastly the developed models have been validated using experimental tryout.
Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) are becoming increasingly popular as the amount of available digital data continues to grow at an exponential rate. A new set of benefits and economies made possible by cloud technologies in terms of bandwidth, computing, storage, and transmission costs, which will all reduce the overall costs for data storage for the company, which provide customers with convenient and efficient storage services. For the protection of the Cloud Client (CC) data in the cloud, several different security models are available. In order to verify that CSPs and the CC are in compliance with these safety criteria, the Third-Party Auditor (TPA) has a responsibility to thoroughly assess evidence of compliance between the CC and the CSP. Cloud user data are vulnerable to loss of confidentiality and integrity as data are stored in off premises and maintained by CSP. As a result, in order to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of stored data, the concept of auditing has been introduced into the Cloud Computing Environment. Cloud users can seek the assistance of a TPA who has extensive experience in conducting cloud audits in order to assess the risk associated with their services.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
