Limbah benang di sentra industri rajut Binong Hati memiliki potensi ekonomis, di antaranya untuk dibuat alat permainan edukatif di PAUD. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas dan inovasi para ibu rumah tangga dalam membuat alat permainan edukatif thematic busy books. Metode yang dilaksanakan adalah kaji tindak melibatkan pelatihan dan pendampingan produksi thematic busy books. Kegiatan dilaksanakan mengikuti tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, monitoring, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Kelompok sasaran terdiri atas enam orang ibu rumah tangga yang berdomisili di Kelurahan Binong. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pendidikan para ibu rumah tangga menjadi faktor utama kurangnya tingkat kreativitas dan inovasi produk thematic busy books. Selama proses pendampingan, kelompok sasaran mengalami kesulitan terutama dalam menentukan konten kegiatan dalam buku relevan dengan Kurikulum 2013 PAUD dan mendesain pola. Program pelatihan dan berkelanjutan bagi kelompok sasaran dapat memperkuat stabilitas usaha para ibu rumah tangga di bidang produksi thematic busy books di masa mendatang.
This research is to know pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) of primary schools teacher in science lesson. The research method used survey method. Research subject is determined by purposive sampling technique. Research data were collected by interview technique, questionnaire, test, product assessment, and observation. Data were analyzed by one-way Anova toward civil servant period, certification period, work class, GPA and university origin. The conclusions obtained indicate that the teacher's PCK in teaching science in primary schools depends on the newly-conducted training program such as the Teacher Education and Professional Training (PLPG). There is no correlation between the underlying factors as a teacher and the PCK in significantly teaching science in primary schools. It is recommended that teachers regularly attend training related to the updating of learning materials or related to PCK as the basis of the teaching profession in teaching science through an in service training program.
Higher education institutions have a distinctive role to foster sustainable development. Universities should prepare their students to become sustainable society members by providing faculty development in sustainability, delivering course programs related with living experiences and theoretical sustainability literacy, as well as performing policy related with Green Campus Act. This study emphasized on portraying lecturers and students of elementary school teacher education program responses regarding green campus initiatives. Online questionnaires were distributed to 12 lecturers and 100 students. Thematic content analysis was carried out to determine the level of higher education institution sustainability. Results showed that the institution has not established the concept of green Campus sustainability, particularly in the area of operational. According to the empirical evidences, it is suggested that the institution should pay more attention to the development of policy of energy consumption and alternative energy resources at the same time, wastewater recycling to provide clean water needs for campus community, and solid waste management, and environmentally friendly-building design. In order to improve academic community's understanding and involvement in developing Green Campus Act, internal house training for the whole community including academic staffs is needed.
Penelitian ini didasarkan pada perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, dimana hal tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai perantara untuk lebih memaksimalkan proses pembelajaran khususnya yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran digital. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendesain dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran Power Point interaktif dalam konten pelajaran IPA di SD kelas V yaitu mengenai zat tunggal dan campuran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian D&D (Design and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implement, Evaluation). Produk media pembelajaran Power Point interaktif yang sudah dikembangkan selanjutnya divalidasi oleh dua ahli yaitu ahli media dan ahli materi. Hasil kedua validasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa dari segi media dinyatakan “layak” untuk digunakan dan dari segi materi dinyatakan “sangat layak” untuk digunakan. Sementara pada tahap implementasi, media pembelajaran Power Point interaktif pada zat tunggal dan campuran diujicobakan terhadap guru dan siswa kelas V SD. Hasil keduanya menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran tersebut dinyatakan “sangat layak” untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran IPA di kelas V, khususnya pada materi zat tunggal dan campuran.
This Community Service Program aims to increase the ability of elementary school teachers in Bandung Wetan district to develop STEM-based science learning plans during the Covid-19 pandemic. In detail, the objectives of this service can be described as follows: first knowing the teacher's perceptions of the implementation of STEM learning that is carried out in online learning, second knowing the teacher's needs for the implementation of STEM in online learning, the third design of the SFH training program (STEM From Home ) to improve the ability of elementary school teachers in Bandung Wetan sub-district to develop a STEM-based science learning plan during the Covid-19 pandemic and most recently as an effort to describe the ability of elementary school teachers in Bandung Wetan sub-district to develop a STEM-based science learning plan during the Covid-19 pandemic after participating in the program SFH (STEM From Home) training. This service activity targets the target audience is elementary school teachers in the Bandung Wetan district. The number of schools in Bandung Wetan District is 17 with 15 private schools and 2 public elementary schools. On this occasion, the involvement of teachers as many as 28 people was prioritized. A series of PKM activities have been carried out from August to September 2020.
