Objective- Theoritical study was used to study the level of customers' satisfaction towards service provided by agency at UTC Melaka through the service quality model developed by Parasuraman which are tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, empathy and assurance. Methodology/Technique - A non-probability technique was used to study the level of customer satisfaction where questionnaires were distributed to 110 respondents at UTC Melaka. Respondents were determined using convenient sampling method and result was analysed by using SPSS version 20.0. This paper contributes to the understanding about the importance of food allergy awareness among public. Findings - All the studied factors indicated a significant relationship with customers' satisfaction. The value of r for tangibility was 0.450, reliability (0.558), responsiveness (0.457), assurance (0.313), and empathy (0.475). As a conclusion, customers are satisfied with the service provided by agency at UTC Melaka and reliability was the most factors that affect the customer satisfaction. Novelty - This researchare to test Parasuraman service quality model in Malaysia government agency and look at the level of customers' satisfaction towards the service provided. This study's objective is to investigate the factors that influence students' intention in using gamified app as a form of complementary learning strategy during physical class using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). In this study, TAM is integrated with technology readiness (TR) as its construct. The extended TAM is expected to explain in a better way on the intention to adopt gamification apps in recent educational environment compared to the original TAM. Gamification technique gives an approach that is more practical to improve the process of learning, especially in terms of the students' motivation. To date, limited research has been done on student's intention to use medium of gamification in higher education institution. Therefore, this study explores the factors that influence the intention of gamification usage among students in higher education institution.
It is always a belief that a nation's development starts from a good education. Teachers are an important aspect of the education system, supplementing knowledge, and skills to young minds. It is believed that children would be the shaper of the country's future. This put pressure on this profession; the need to provides the best education to children, thus leading them to stress and burnout. Juggling between students' potential, parents' expectations, school administration and personal life lead to job burnout among teachers. As teachers play major role in reshaping future generation, it is important to recognise and acknowledge factors that lead to stress and burnout, thus identifying factors that might prohibits the burnout. This study aims to explore different influencing factors on the work demands of a teacher among female teachers as it holds 70% of the educator population in Malaysia. Using a correlational study, this paper explores influencing factors to teachers' job burnout from three different aspects: students, environment, and the job itself. 242 female teachers at secondary schools in a district in Malaysia; Muar were included as the respondent. Students' behaviour, work environment, and work overload are hypothesized to be positively correlated with female teachers' job burnout. Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression were used to test all three hypotheses, where all hypotheses are accepted. The result showed that there is significant relationship between work overload (p<0.01, r=.407), negative work environment (p<0.01, r=.423) and students' misbehaviour (p<0.01, r=.569) towards female teachers' job burnout. This study also showed that the variance of job burnout among female teacher can be explained by the independent variables tested by 46%. This study is thought to contribute to the topic of burnout in the education context, therefore can add understanding of teachers' well-being and contributes to a healthier workforce. The extension of this study could be done to identify factors that can be taken by the government, schools and individual in order to reduce stress among female teachers.
Employees' well-being is crucial for employers to take care of as the condition of employees could always translate into work performance. Presenteeism has received an increasingly attention from practitioners and researchers due to constant debate whether the act of coming to work despite being ill; would contribute a positive or negative impact for the employers. There exist notions that suggest that constant presenteeism could lead to employees' burnout. However, this paper discusses the role of perceived self-efficacy as mediator to the relationship between presenteeism and burnout.
Impulse buying has been a phenomenon, especially with the growth of e-commerce. Research has shown that 40% -60% of purchases are among impulse buyers. This shows the importance of impulse buying among consumers and among sellers. Cosmetics brands are starting to have their own websites and promote their products online. As this industry is booming, with the rapid changes in technology, it is essential to see the factors that trigger impulse buying tendencies. However, there is still lacks of literature addressing the interaction between impulse buying tendency towards organic cosmetic among Malaysian consumers, especially during online purchase. Therefore, this paper is discussing the factors effecting impulse buying tendency for organic cosmetics. Factors that are discussed in this paper include website product display, promotional activities, impulsive traits, and consumer mood/feeling while buying.
