The wide-ranging features of a smartwatch have driven the rapid growth of the smartwatch market as they pique the users’ interests by offering interactive technology that simultaneously promotes fitness and tracks health. Nevertheless, the factors influencing smartwatch adoption among individuals are yet to be comprehended despite the ever-growing popularity of smartwatch usage. Hence, to understand the possible factors in detail, a research model is proposed to indicate the influential underlying factors relative to smartwatch adoption in the Malaysian populace. This study will examine the four proposed dimensions of perceived benefits, healthology, IT innovation, and smartwatch as luxury products. Online questionnaires will be used to collect the research data, while SPSS will be used to run both preliminary research and descriptive analyses, PLS-SEM will be used to further analyze the model.
As an important profit driver for business, e-commerce gives various opportunities to small and huge companies to sustain. Customer will visit e-commerce repeatedly when they feel satisfy with e-commerce services. Hence, this study aims to investigate the impacts of service quality on e-commerce context. Information quality, e-service quality, security and usefulness were predicted to have positive relationship with the customers’ satisfaction. Using purposive sampling techniques, 388 questionnaires were collected from the customers who had experienced in using Lazada and Shopee e-commerce website. PLS-SEM was used to analyse the collected data and test the proposed research hypotheses. The results indicate that information quality, e-service quality and security have positive relationship with user satisfaction, while usefulness is not significant. This finding could be used as a guideline for the companies to improve their e-commerce services.
Many Malaysian citizens are aware that contributing their organs gives “new life” to the people in need. These little “sacrifices” shows indirectly that Malaysians have high values for their country’s social development. The largest group of ethnicity in Malaysia is Malays. Sadly this ethnic group appears to be the least to sign up as organ donors. In Islam, the allowable of organ donation was not specifically mentioned in the main reference sources which were Quran and Hadith. This is because organ donation was a modern development of medicine in the world. However, many fatwa had been carried out by Muslim scholars. There are many issues contributing to this scenario, among others perceived Islamic prohibition as well as the awareness among muslims themselves. This paper is to grasps insight of these two issues that affect the muslim’s willingness towards organ donation.
Call Centre industry has been the most challenging and yet highly stressful environment work place. Call Centre are known implementing high target as well as rotating shift pattern that further challenges by causing conflicts on the employee’s focus between work and family. This study will focus on work-family conflict challenges and solutions among employees and organizations in the Malaysia on the Asian context. Is it imperative to find the relationship between work and family with the employee’s Job Role, Career Role, Innovation Role, Team Role, and Organization Role. The research will adopt the quantitative approach using the survey (through a structured questionnaire). Primary data for this research will be collected from original sources through distribution of questionnaires to employees of call centre organizations in Klang Valley. The findings are expected to benefits the employee’s, the human resource professional and the organization itself.
