Human resource development by applying innovative learning models so that they can develop positive characters based on local wisdom in Central Kalimantan. Apply the values of huma betang (family and know each other), belum bahadat (behave politely), hapakat basara (consensus for consensus), handep (mutual cooperation), and not yet full of hinje simpei (live in harmony and peace) in the Project Based Learning learning method (PjBL). The purpose of this research is to find out how students’ character development based on local wisdom uses the Problem Based Learning model. This research is a type of field research, qualitative research. The research subjects were students of class X IPS 2 at SMAN-1 Jabiren. The instrument used in this research is the researcher himself. The results of the study stated that with the PjBL method the characteristics of tolerance, curiosity, activeness, openness to input, communication, respecting achievements and opinions of friends, accepting differences of opinion, and respecting teachers are characteristics that develop significantly. Character education in the world of education, both primary, secondary, and even higher education must be well integrated. The research implication is inovatif learning models based on local wisdom is applied.
Developing human resources is one of education’s duty, beside increasing the the learning outcome, improving student cahrachter is a must in order to gain a qualified human resource. The research background is to develop student’s character as a mention in Pelajar Pancasila character. The research aim is to improving the student character based in local wisdom character by implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. Data was colecting by doing observation, interview and documentation. The resut showed an increase in character values in aspects of independent and resposnsible. Brief conclssion of the research is the project-based learning model can improve the character values of students.
Public space function such as a place for interaction people, social activity, and fulfil of economic needs and also recreation. Public space must be exist even at big city either small city. Public space quality based on impact of abration are physical and non physical aspect. Physical aspect including facility of the area, public space condition, and design. Non physical aspect including responsif aspect, democracy, meaningful and accesibility. Lebih beach as a public space located at Gianyar regency, has intetresting area for people around the beach and also another regency. At this beach, many activity is held, such as social, economic activity, family entertainmet and also fish culinary. At this time, there is many change of Lebih beach because the impact of abration. Decrease of sapce between land and shoreline. This research will explain how the change of Lebih beach based on economic and social function because both of them is the dominant activity at Lebih beach. This is a descriptive qualitative research, with direct interview with the people at beach. The result is quality aspect of social function are democracy and meaningful aspect, and economic aspect are democracy, meaningful and quality of area.
The study aims to examine sustainable uses of public spaces of Lebih’s coastal line, in the aftermath of uncontrolled abrasion. It implements a qualitative research approach. Data was collected through a series of field observations, historical studies, and unstructured interviews. This study relates functions with spatial quality. While function is analysed based on social, economic and environmental roles accommodated by a public space, quality is assessed in terms of three conditions that a public space is expected to have, which are being responsive, democratic, and meaningful. Discussion over these two issues is based on the examination of both physical and non-physical attributes. The physical attribute is discussed in terms of spatial design and supporting facilities available to support the functions of Lebih as a public space, and the non-physical attribute is examined based on the capacity to be a responsive, democratic, and meaningful space to the public who uses it. This study alarmingly shows that abrasion has eroded Lebih coastal area to a level of 3.2% per year, which is equal to a 4m reduction annually. This condition directly influences the quality of Lebih Coast and consequently its capacity to accommodate the three inherent functions. The first two functions, to certain extents, remain well served, but the last one is feared to disappear along with the erosion of Lebih cost by continuous abrasion. This fear is especially underlined by the role of this coast as a buffer to protect the adjacent mainland and its associated ecosystem.
Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah agar tenaga pendidik dalam hal ini ialah Bapak dan Ibu guru nantinya mendapatkan pemahaman, serta memiliki keterampilan dalam membuat media pembelajaran dengan menggunakan aplikasi Camtasia yang berbasis powerpoint. Penguasaan dan pemanfaatan aplikasi Camtasia dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran akan meningkatkan kompetensi guru yang nantinya menjadi modal dalam perencanaan disetiap pembelajarannya. Kompetensi guru memang harus selalu dikembangkan sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi, dengan transfer iptek berupa pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah Bapak dan Ibu guru di SMA Negeri 1 Jabiren, Kabupaten Pulang Pisau. Permasalahan yang terjadi ialah, para guru masih menggunakan metode ceramah secara langsung dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran dikelas, serta seiring perkembangan jaman, para guru dituntut untuk lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran, salah satunya ialah dengan menggunakan video sebagai media pembelajaran, harapannya dengan inovasi tersebut, meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, serta pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang diberikan oleh guru. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah diskusi tanya jawab, serta metode praktik secara langsung dalam menggunakan aplikasi Camtasia berbasis powerpoint. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan dengan indikasi adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan menggunakan secara langsung terhadap aplikasi Camtasia berbasis powerpoint. Dapat disimpulkan melalui kegiatan pelatihan ini, keterampilan yang dimiliki oleh para guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi Camtasia menjadi meningkat, dari yang tidak tahu menjadi paham dan terampil dalam membuat materi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan aplikasi Camtasia sebagai media pembelajaran untuk siswa.
