Goblet cell carcinoid of the appendix is a rare neuoroendocrine tumor that possesses histological features of both adenocarcinoma and neuoroendocrine tumor. Goblet cell carcinoid of the appendix is more aggressive than conventional neuroendocrine tumors. Here we report a case of a 54-year-old woman with goblet cell carcinoid tumor in the appendix Key Words: Neuroendocrine tumors, Carcinoid, Goblet cell, Appendix ÖZApendiksin goblet hücreli karsinoidi, adenokarsinom ve nöroen-dokrin tümörün histolojik özelliklerini gösteren ender görülen bir nöroendokrin tümördür. Konvansiyonel nöroendokrin tümörden daha agresif seyir gösterirler. Burada akut apendisitis semptomları ile başvuran ve mikroskopik incelemede goblet hücreli karsinoid ve akut apendisit tanısı verilen 54 yaşında bir kadın hasta sunulmuştur.
