Con el objetivo de comparar el rendimiento de raíces reservantes, se evaluaron ocho clones de yuca (Manihot esculenta, Crantz), bajo las condiciones de suelo y clima de Iquitos. El experimento se llevó a cabo en un Diseño de Bloques al Azar, en el Campo Experimental Agrícola de la Facultad de Agronomía-UNAP, ubicado en Zúngaro Cocha a 25 km. al S.O. de la ciudad de Iquitos. De acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos se concluye que el clon "Amarilla" fue el más rendidor, seguido de los clones Z2-82 y "Zevallo negro", demostrando alta capacidad de producción.
Se reporta los resultados de la evaluación de enraizamiento y producción de materia verde y seca de Lippia alba, realizada en el Jardín Botánico de Plantas Medicinales de la Estación Biológica Allpahuayo, Centro Regional de Investigaciones Loreto, del Instituto de Investigaciones de la Amazonía Peruana (CRI-IIAP-Loreto). Se utilizó estacas de Lippia alba, empleando cuatro tratamientos (humus de lombriz, bagazo de caña en descomposición, materia orgánica del bosque y testigo), con Diseño Bloque al Azar con cuatro repeticiones. El análisis de variancia de las evaluaciones mostró la existencia de diferencias estadísticas significativas entre tratamientos a un nivel de 0,05% confirmadas por la prueba de Duncan, donde los promedios se agrupan en cuatro grupos. Complementariamente, se reporta la evaluación de ocho descriptores para cada uno de los tratamientos.
