This study discusses the use of social media in teenagers. Teenagers are a period of searching for identity and God's presence is a major issue in teenagers. Teenager’s life trying to meet the needs of religious information possessed from outside through social media. Religious information on social media affects teenager religiosity which is reflected in religious maturity and religious commitment. Research on social media, religious maturity and religiosity commitment used a comparative quantitative approach with descriptive-analytical methods. The subjects were 40 students in a private high school in Sidoarjo. The results showed that social media use is related to religion maturity and teenager religious commitment. Social media are often used as religious references by teenagers include, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook. Variation in social media using among teenagers has affected variation teenagers on the level of religious maturity and religiosity commitment. Such as condition correspondents with the theory of uses and gratification which makes users an active agent in establishing social media use as a reference. Increasingly, the difference in the level of religious maturity and religiosity commitment is contingent on hope and satisfaction of any use in assessing the social media account referenced to Da’wa.
Cyber-religion (keberagamaan dalam internet) pada generasi Z membutuhkan peran mindfulness. Mindfulness diperlukan para pengguna generasi Z untuk menyadari kondisi pengguna dalam penggunaan akun dakwah jejaring sosial. Penelitian ini memaparkan hasil empiris tentang korelasi antara mindfulness dan penggunaan akun dakwah jejaring sosial pada generasi Z. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasional dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala mindfulness dan penggunaan akun dakwah jejaring sosial. Skala yang digunakan disebarkan kepada 186 subjek penelitian yang merupakan para muslim pada generasi Z. Pemilihan subjek penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling melalui metode purposive sampling. Hasil riset menunjukkan nilai P=0.000 (P < 0.05) dengan koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar -0.312. Dengan demikian, hipotesis penelitian yang diajukan penelitian diterima. Artinya, terdapat korelasi positif antara mindfulness dan penggunaan akun dakwah jejaring sosial pada generasi Z. <p class="06IsiAbstrak"><span>Muslim students need academic resilience in overcoming difficulties during the educational process. Positive emotions; self-compassion influence the academic resilience of Muslim students. Self-compassion will help Muslim students to come to terms with their conditions and themselves when experiencing problems which will facilitate the academic resilience of Muslim students. Self-compassion in improving the academic resilience of Muslim students will be provided in the form of training called PRO-SESSION (Self Compassion Program). The type of research used is quasi-experimental research. The experimental research process involved 35 research subjects who were students of UIN Sunan Ampel divided into two groups, the experimental and control groups. Based on the results of the Mann-Whitney U-test analysis, it was found that the value of sig. 0.034 (p < 0.05) with the average value of the experimental group experiencing an increase in academic resilience scores after giving a treatment by 2.25 and the control group experiencing a decrease in academic resilience scores by 0.7. This means that there is a significant effect of PRO-SESSION in increasing the resilience of Muslim students. Thus, it can be concluded that self-compassion is effectively used to increase the resilience of Muslim students.</span></p>
