This article presents the research of relationship between the effect of retinal localized chromatic adaptation, the standard rendering methods, and perception of desaturated achromatic reproductions. Within the research, adaptations on three types of adaptation forms at times of 5, 10, and 15 min are performed. To define the impact of the effect, the samples for visual evaluation -the evaluation of the effect of retinal localized chromatic adaptation -are printed by using the gray balance phenomenon: with certain samples, the saturation of colors for which the adaptation is performed is made higher. The research results show the existence of correlation between the researched parameters and a need for further research and description of psychophysical effects in processes of graphic reproductions.
Original scientific paper In this paper the authors determine the visual interest centres and the points of visual entry of observers on the page of graphical user interface for newspaper tablet application using the method of monitoring the eye movement. The research presented in this paper demonstrates that the key visual elements and points of entry in this case function in the same way as in the case of the printed edition of daily newspapers, and do not follow the patterns that occur in the application of content on websites of corresponding newspaper. Keywords: eye tracking, graphical user interface; newspaper layout; points of visual interest; tablet applicationsDeterminiranje točaka vizualnog interesa kod grafičkih korisničkih sučelja aplikacija za tablet novine Izvorni znanstveni članak U radu autori metodom praćenja kretanja oka određuju centre vizualnog interesa i točke ulaza pogleda promatrača na stranicu grafičkog korisničkog sučelja aplikacije za tablet novine.
Packaging can be briefly defined as a science, method and technology for product preservation. The function of packaging is to protect the product that is packed in it and to protect the environment from the content inside the packaging. As a result, the products can be gaseous, liquid or solid.[1-3] The packaging must be suitable for use, i.e. handling, transport and distribution. It should inform the potential and the actual buyer and it should "sell the product". [4,5] An important part of the packaging design is the material from which it will be made. The basic conditions that packaging must meet are the following: strength on material pressure, elasticity, plasticity, stiffness and resistance to strain, toughness, mechanical endurance and printing.[4] Packaging must protect the content and be protected itself from oxidation, moisture, odor, chemical agents and microbes. To meet these requirements, polymer materials and nanotechnology are now being used.[5,6] Packaging can also be made according to the materials, purpose in traffic, durability and function.
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a fast growing field inside Business Process Automation (BPA). RPA deals with software robots that use human application interface to do some repetitive tasks like starting programs, filling the forms, clicking on buttons etc. Some RPA software tools like Blue Prism, Rapise and UiPath became popular during last years but there are still some problems with them starting with their high price and difficulties to adapt to the real use cases. On the other hand, Optoklik is a relatively small RPA tool developed to be highly adaptable to the real cases and still easy to use. This paper presents the main functions of Optoklik and discusses its usage in automation of different actions that use human application interface.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
