International audienceThis paper presents a new symmetric design of multi-phase coupled inductors where all phase inductors share one ferrite core. Designed multi-phase inductors were fabricated using the printed circuit board (PCB) technology. One-layer and two-layer designs have been analyzed and compared. Designed planar ferrite cores were fabricated in custom shape with the ferrite materials, C2025 and CN20, commercially available from Ceramic Magnetics, Inc. The core that is mounted on the PCB with printed inductors represents a compact planar component with six inductors mutually coupled with their adjacent inductors. These multi-phase coupled inductors are intended to be used in multi-phase dc/dc converters for switching frequencies near and >1 MHz. Electrical properties of the components were analyzed by a finite-element modeling software and an impedance analyzer HP4194A in the frequency range from 50 kHz to 40 MHz. Distribution of the magnetic flux density in the component has also been performed. One-layer structure component was tested for basic operation with a six-phase dc/dc buck converter in the open-loop steady-state 6 × 1 operation mod
The aim of the research is to determine the tourist value of the medieval fortresses of Belgrade, Smederevo and Golubac, which are located along the course of the Danube through Serbia, that is, to evaluate tourist attractiveness of all those occurrences, objects and spaces which define the tourist value of this kind of resource and heritage. Relying on the analysis of defined elements of the qualitative-quantitative procedure of tourist valorisation, the paper indicates the causes of a low level of tourist attractiveness and distinctiveness of the analysed monumental complexes, as well as the guidelines and activities which should be undertaken in order to rebuild and organise this kind of cultural heritage.
In the process of design inductors with ferrite cores, one of important steps is the selection of proper core material. This work presents first steps in the process of development innovative multi-phase coupled inductor. Component will be used in MHz frequency region and it is intended to be used in the compact DC/DC converters. In first iteration, three types of NiZn materials have been selected as core materials for multiphase coupled inductors. Results and analysis of ferrite core contribution to inductance frequency characteristic and Q-factor have been analyzed. SEM structural analysis and stress performance of ferrites are presented and analyzed in this work as additional parameter in process of selection. As result of this research, two ferrite materials are selected to be used as inductor cores in further development of component.
