In this paper describes an acoustic investigation of the influence of nonlinear thermal processes in the lasing dye Rhodamine 6G with silver nanoparticles of different morphology. Determined the dynamic range of pump energy at which there is no destruction of the working substance under the influence of thermal processes.
In order to show that the presence of high optical fields near the surface of the agglomerates of nanoparticles may lead to lower of lasing dye energy threshold and increase its efficiency, lasing was studied experimentally in a thin layer of laser dye R6G with nanoparticles of Ag, Al, Ni, without manifestations of random laser medium and the effect of the plasmon resonance.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
