Nowadays, wireless sensor networks plays major role in solving vehicular Internet of Things (VIoT) applications. This paper address the common problems in vehicular technology such as unauthorized vehicular usage within a locality, vehicular thefts, and vehicular accidents using camera, radiofrequency identification (RFID) and Ultra-sonic sensors. It also addresses the problem of identifying the vehicle pollution parameter values such as carbon monoxide ( CO ) and carbon dioxide ( CO 2 ), providing information about alcohol consumption by driver, and checking validity (driving license) of the driver to drive the vehicle. The driver identification is going to be done with the help of driving license, which can be identified with the help of Deep learning algorithms such as MTCNN (Multi-Task Cascaded Convolutional Neural Networks) and facenet algorithms. The proposed system is deployed and demonstrated using Micro-controller, Micro-processor and other sensors in real time environment. The River Formation Dynamics based Multi-hop Routing Protocol for Vehicles (RFDMRPV) is used for communication between vehicles. Data collected from the sensors fixed in vehicles are transferred to server using RFDMRPV for storing and further processing.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
