Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas butir soal Ujian Akhir Sekolah (UAS) mata pelajaran matematika. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bersifat evaluasi yang melibatkan 159 siswa SMAN 1 Pitumpanua. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data melalui teknik dokumentasi. Analisis terhadap data butir soal dilakukan dengan menggunakan program Anates. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 15% soal pada kategori baik, 67% soal pada kategori cukup baik, dan 18% soal pada kategori tidak baik. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa butir-butir soal tersebut sudah layak untuk digunakan dalam ujian akhir sekolah. Manfaat yang dapat diperoleh dari hasil penelitian ini adalah sebaiknya senantiasa menyiapkan soal cadangan untuk menggantikan soal dengan kategori tidak baik, revisi dapat dilakukan terhadap soal dengan kategori cukup baik untuk selanjutnya dapat digunakan kembali, dan soal dengan kategori baik dapat dimasukkan ke bank soal.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul berbasis model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi aritmatika sosial yang valid, praktis, dan efektif SMP Kelas VII. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development dengan model pengembangan Plomp. Produk yang dikembangkan yaitu modul berbasis model PBL materi aritmatika sosial. Subjek uji coba adalah 45 siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Pattallassang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi ahli, angket respons siswa dan guru, lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, dan tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba terbatas, diperoleh bahwa (1) Hasil validasi bahan ajar adalah 4,5 pada kategori sangat valid, (2) Praktis karena persentase rata-rata respons siswa adalah 82,6% dengan kategori positif dan persentase rata-rata respons guru adalah 95% dengan kategori sangat positif. (3) Efektif karena rata-rata kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran adalah 4,60 dengan kategori sangat baik, persentase rata-rata aktivitas siswa adalah 70,9% dengan kategori baik, dan persentase ketuntasan belajar mencapai ketuntasan klasikal yaitu 88,9%, tuntas secara klasikal. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan uji coba terbatas, modul berbasis PBL pada materi aritmatika sosial memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan.
This study aims to analyze the quality of the final school examination items in mathematics in terms of three characteristics, namely the level of difficulty, distinguishing power, and distractor effectiveness. The subjects of this study were students of MTs.S Guppi Bontolangkasa, Minasatene District, Pangkep Regency. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research. Data collection techniques in this study were documentation and data analysis using the Anates 4.0.9 program. The results of this study indicate that 40 multiple choice items in the final school examination in mathematics in terms of difficulty level are included in the easy category, namely 28 items (70%) easy, 7 items (17.5%) moderate, and 5 items (12, 5%) difficult. In terms of its distinguishing power, it is in the poor category with details of 2 items (5%) being accepted, 10 items (25%) being corrected, and 28 items (70%) being rejected. Likewise, in terms of effectiveness, the options are in the poor category, namely 7 items (17.5%) are not good, 12 items (30%) are good enough, 9 items (22.5%) are good, and 12 items (30%) very good. This it can be concluded that the questions used in the final school exams in mathematics include questions that are of poor quality because these items do not fulfill two or more of the three characteristics of good quality questions. The implication of this research is that the bad questions should be replaced with new questions, the bad questions need to be revised so that they can be used again and the good questions can be submitted to the question bank.
This study aims to: 1) produce Augmented Reality-based Calcu Card learning media on the Three-Dimensional Shapes with Curves lessons that are valid, practical, and effective, 2) test the suitability of applying the learning media to determine the application effect. The subjects of study were 9th Grade Student of SMP Pesantren Guppi Samata. The development model was using the PIE development model or plan, implement, and evaluate. Meanwhile, the data to be collected were in the form of questionnaires and learning outcomes tests. This research was carried out in 2 ways, namely first a small-scale test for the 9th Grade Student, then a large-scale test for 9th Grade Student of SMP Pesantren Guppi Samata, they were 20 students. The results showed that the average validator’s assessment of the Calcu Card application was 3.25. Based on the student assessment, it can be obtained that the average response of students through a questionnaire to the Calcu Card application was 3.19. Furthermore, the percentage of students ‘completeness was 75% while the percentage of students’ incompleteness was 25%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Augmented Reality-based Calcu Card learning media is suitable for 9th Grade Student of SMP Guppi Samata by meeting the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.
This study aims to know the correlation between the perception of learners to the teaching style of teachers and the achievements of learning mathematics learners. This type of research is Ex post facto. The population is 65 students from grade VIII Muhammadiyah Takwa Gowa Regency Junior High School. Sampling using saturated sampling. The instruments used are the scale of students' perception of teacher teaching style and documentation of learning achievements. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the analysis of descriptive statistical data on the perception of learners obtained an average score of 91. The teaching style that tends to be done by the teacher is the classic teaching style with a percentage of 55.4%. For math learning achievements, obtained an average score of 78 is in the high category. Based on the results of the inferential statistical analysis shows there is a positive and significant relationship between the perception of learners about the teaching style of teachers and the achievements of learning mathematics students of grade VIII Muhammadiyah Takwa Gowa District Junior High School.
