Introducción. La importancia de la Web para el acceso y la difusión del conocimientoHoy, se puede considerar Internet como un gran espacio de comunicación práctica mediada tecnológicamente y muy diversa, de múltiples «juegos de lenguaje» que no se reduce única y exclusivamente a información y distribución de datos y que ya no se puede entender únicamente en términos de contenido, pues también sirve para expresarse, relacionarse y entretenerse. Fecha de aceptación: 27/11/2013. * Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea/Departamento de Filosofía (nicanor.ursua@ehu.es).Ha publicado recientemente «La innovación basada en ideas creativas, algo necesario para un tiempo globaResumen: Se analiza el conocimiento desde la óptica de la «e-»epistemología para argumentar que el uso de las tecnologías de la información y de la comunicación, ejemplificado en este caso en Internet, está transformando de manera radical y totalmente nueva las maneras y formas de conocer y hasta el mismo acto del conocer, lo que requiere, a su vez, una nueva epistemología adecuada al mundo digital. Ya no sirven por más tiempo las estructuras y categorías de la «clásica» teoría del conocimiento. El conocimiento necesita ser repensado de manera profunda y radical dentro de estos «nuevos medios» y se ha de elaborar una «nueva» epistemología adecuada al mundo digital. Todo esto es, en el fondo, lo que hace que Internet y la Web, se haya transformado en algo tan significativo para los/as educadores/as, los/as docentes de Filosofía, la investigación y el público en general 2 .¿Qué clase de conocimiento será necesario para la futura educación? ¿Cómo habrá que preparar a los/as educandos/as para la sociedad digital, donde el conocimiento y la verdad «juegan» en un terreno bastante diferente al conocido hasta ahora? Es necesario que los/as educadores/as enseñen a los/as niños/as y a los/as adolescentes a pensar con nuevas categorías, lo que implica enseñar a cómo pensar acerca de esas mismas categorías 3 . Esto supone enseñar las características y métodos de las diferentes formas de conocer, de razonar y de comprender, especialmente acerca de los aspectos perspectivísticos, narrativos y metafóricos del mundo ciberespacial.Es aquí donde aparece una nueva tarea epistemológica, a saber, la denominada «Internet Epistemology», entendiendo por tal las críticas y aportaciones de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y de la comunicación a la búsqueda científica y al conocimiento.
