RésuméLa description de la morphologie du tube digestif des poissons a permis de mettre en évidence chez Pomadasys jubelini (Cuvier, 1830) un estomac développé et un intestin relativement court. Le coefficient intestinal, relativement bas (0,70 < CI < 1,43 pour des poissons dont la longueur standard est comprise entre 75 et 225 mm), a permis de rapprocher cette espèce de la catégorie des poissons omnivores. L'analyse des contenus stomacaux de 318 spécimens de P. jubelini capturés a confirmé le régime omnivore de cette espèce dans la lagune Ebrié ; les poissons se nourrissant de larves de Chironomidae, de restes d'insectes, de crevettes, de restes de crabes, de mollusques et de poissons. La classification des proies par l'utilisation de l'indice d'importance relative (IRI) indique que les mollusques (52,58 %), les larves de Chironomidae (19,01 %) et de crevettes (14,62 %) constituent les proies préférentielles de P. jubelini dans la lagune Ebrié. La comparaison entre spécimens de tailles différentes (75 LS < 130 mm et LS > 210 mm) n'a pas montré de variation du régime alimentaire. Aucune différence du régime alimentaire n'a non plus été constatée entre les poissons capturés durant la saison sèche et ceux capturés durant la saison pluvieuse. Mots
