Mục tiêu: Nhằm mô tả các đặc điểm nhân khẩu học và một số đặc điểm về cân nặng, răng miệng hay những khó khăn mà trẻ mắc dị tật khe hở môi và/hoặc vòm miệng thường gặp phải. Phương pháp nghiên cứu: Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang trên 196 trẻ dưới 15 tuổi có dị tật ke hở môi và/hoặc vòm miệng đến khám và điều trị tại Bệnh viện Răng Hàm Mặt Trung ương Hà Nội. Kết quả: Tỷ lệ trẻ nam mắc dị tật (64,8%) lớn hơn nữ (35,2%). Phần lớn trẻ sinh ra trong gia đình có địa vị kinh tế và học vấn thấp hoặc trung bình, người cha có thói quen sử dụng rượu và thuốc lá. Khoảng 60% trẻ gặp khó khăn khi ăn và bú, tiếp đến là vấn đề về nói, giao tiếp và bệnh nhiễm trùng. Phần lớn trẻ có cân nặng bình thường nhưng tỷ lệ thiếu cân tương đối cao, chiếm 12,8%. Nhìn chung, trẻ thường gặp các vấn đề về răng miệng, trong đó được báo cáo nhiều nhất là thiếu chỗ mọc răng (45,9%), bất thường về vị trí (38,8%) và chậm mọc răng (25,5%), trong khi hơn 16% cha mẹ không biết về các vấn đề răng miệng. Kết luận: Tỷ lệ trẻ nam mắc dị tật nhiều hơn trẻ nữ. Tỷ lệ trẻ mắc dị tật khe hở môi hoặc vòm miệng đơn thuần nhiều gấp hơn 2 lần tỷ lệ trẻ mắc đồng thời hai dị tật này. Cha mẹ của trẻ có trình độ học vấn và kinh tế ở mức thấp hoặc trung bình. Tỷ lệ người mẹ hút thuốc lá thụ động khá cao. Khó khăn khi cho ăn, khi bú và vấn đề răng miệng thường gặp nhất và cần sự quan tâm của cha mẹ.
Mục tiêu: Nhằm đánh giá kết quả điều trị và phục hồi chức năng sau phẫu thuật của trẻ mắc dị tật khe hở môi và/hoặc vòm miệng. Phương pháp nghiên cứu: Tiến hành nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang trên 196 trẻ dưới 15 tuổi có dị tật ke hở môi và/hoặc vòm miệng đến khám và điều trị tại Bệnh viện Răng Hàm Mặt Trung ương Hà Nội năm 2019-2021. Kết quả: Tỷ lệ xuất hiện biến chứng sớm sau mổ 1 tuần khá cao (58,7%), trong đó tụ máu, bầm tím thường gặp nhất (83,5%). Khả năng nhai được cải thiện rõ rệt nhất sau phẫu thuật và đạt trên 85% sau 6 tháng, tiếp đến là khả năng phát âm. Tỷ lệ sẹo co kéo nhẹ và sẹo to mất thẩm mỹ sau 1 tháng và 6 tháng mổ vẫn chiếm đa số. Trẻ có biểu hiện, thay đổi tích cực để hòa nhập với cộng đồng, xã hội. Kết luận: Nghiên cứu cho thấy tác động tích cực của phẫu thuật trong cải thiện sức khỏe thể chất, tâm thần và chức năng của trẻ mắc dị tật khe hở môi và/hoặc vòm miệng mặc dù tỷ lệ biến chứng sớm sau phẫu thuật khá cao. Tuy nhiên trẻ vẫn phải đối mặt với một số rào cản để hòa nhập, thích nghi với cộng đồng.
Wilson là bệnh rối loạn chuyển hóa đồng, di truyền gen lặn trên nhiễm sắc thể thường, do đột biến gen ATP7B trên cánh dài nhiễm sắc thể số 13 (13q14.3) gây ra. Wilson là một bệnh hiếm, tần suất gặp 1/ 30000 đến 1/50000 trẻ. Với tỷ lệ này ước tính ở Việt Nam có khoảng hơn 2000 bệnh nhân mắc bệnh này. Tuy nhiên con số bệnh nhân đã được chẩn đoán ít hơn rất nhiều lần so với số mắc bệnh, chúng tôi mô tả một trường hợp bệnh nhân với các biểu hiện tâm thần kinh không điển hình, với triệu chứng đa dạng khi được phát hiện và điều trị kịp thời thì đáp ứng tốt với điều trị.
Bối cảnh: Rối loạn lo âu lan tỏa là một rối loạn đặc trưng bởi lo lắng quá mức, mạn tính, không thể kiểm soát được, có tính chất lan tỏa, tản mạn, không khu trú vào một sự kiện hoàn cảnh đặc biệt nào ở xung quanh hoặc có liên quan với những sự kiện đã qua không còn tính thời sự nữa. Rối loạn này thường liên quan tới stress trường diễn, tiến triển thay đổi nhưng có xu hướng mạn tính. Các nghiên cứu cho thấy tỉ lệ rối loạn chức năng tình dục cao ở người bệnh lo âu lan toả. Mục tiêu nghiên cứu: Mô tả đặc điểm rối loạn chức năng tình dục ở người bệnh nam rối loạn lo âu lan tỏa điều trị nội trú tại Viện Sức khỏe Tâm thần Bệnh viện Bạch Mai. Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang 60 bệnh nhân rối loạn lo âu lan tỏa điều trị nội trú tại Viện Sức khỏe Tâm thần Bệnh viện Bạch Mai từ tháng 07/2020 đến tháng 07/2021. Kết quả: độ tuổi trung bình của nhóm bệnh nhân 43,82±1,926 tuổi, tuổi trung bình bắt đầu hoạt động chức năng tình dục là 19,7±4,1 tuổi, 63,3% giảm chức năng cương chiếm, 70% bệnh nhân có giảm ham muốn tình dục, 75% bệnh nhân báo cáo thời gian xuất tinh nhanh hơn bình thường. Kết luận: Rối loạn chức năng tình dục ở bệnh nhân rối loạn lo âu lan tỏa xuất hiện với tỉ lệ cao, với biểu hiện giảm ham muốn, chức năng cương suy giảm, thời gian xuất tinh rút ngắn, là vấn đề cần được quan tâm nhiều hơn khi điều trị các bệnh nhân rối loạn lo âu lan tỏa.
Bệnh nhân nữ 53 tuổi, vào viện vì: Tổn thương mắt - luôn cho rằng có những côn trùng cắn trên da. Bệnh biểu hiện khoảng 03 năm nay, bệnh nhân mô tả nhìn thấy “con ghẻ” màu trắng hình dạng như hạt gạo có chân bò khắp người bệnh nhân. Bệnh nhân đi khám, điều trị chuyên khoa Da Liễu nhiều nơi nhưng tình trạng trên không đỡ. Khoảng 03 tháng nay bệnh nhân cảm giác con này thường xuyên bò vào tai vào mũi, vào mắt cắn ở trong mắt, bệnh nhân đi khám và điều trị tại Bệnh viên mắt TW, khoa Mắt Bệnh viện Bạch Mai, được làm xét nghiệm, khám lâm sàng chẩn đoán: viêm củng giác mạc hoại tử - đái tháo đường - tăng huyết áp. Trong quá trình điều trị bệnh nhân thường xuyên dùng bông cồn chấm lau mắt, dung kim lẩy da và kết giác mạc với mục đích bắt ghẻ côn trùng chui vào mắt, thường xuyên tự dùng thuốc không theo chỉ định, bệnh nhân còn than phiền nhiều các biểu hiện trên mời hội chẩn chuyên khoa Tâm thần chẩn đoán theo dõi Rối loạn cơ thể hóa/ Viêm loét giác mạc củng mạc hoại tử - Tăng huyết áp - đái tháo đường. Bệnh nhân được điều chỉnh chế độ ăn, thăm khám và chăm sóc mắt, thuốc Fluvoxamine 200mg / ngày và Quetiapine 400mg/ ngày. Sau 15 ngày điều trị bệnh thuyên giảm đươc ra viện và hẹn khám lại sau 1 tháng.
