Nghiên cứu nhằm mô tả thực trạng kháng thể kháng SARS-CoV-2 và một số yếu tố liên quan trên 248 bệnh nhân mắc COVID-19 không triệu chứng tại Đắk Lắk, 11/2021 - 3/2022. Nghiên cứu sử dụng kỹ thuật xét nghiệm điện hoá phát quang (Electrochemiluminescence immunoassay – ECLIA) để định lượng nồng độ kháng thể kháng SARS-CoV-2. Kết quả cho thấy tỷ lệ dương tính với kháng thể kháng SARS-CoV-2 vào ngày thứ 7 (D7) và ngày thứ 14 (D14) sau nhập viện là 86,7% và 91,5%; trong đó nhóm đã tiêm vắc xin có tỷ lệ dương tính lần lượt là 92,1% & 96,3%; nhóm chưa tiêm vắc xin là 50,0% & 55,6%. Sự khác biệt giữa 2 nhóm là có ý nghĩa thông kê với p < 0,01. Tỷ lệ dương tính ở nhóm tiêm 1 mũi vắc xin vào D7 (90,3%) thấp hơn nhóm tiêm 2 mũi vắc xin (100%) với p < 0,01 nhưng đến D14 tỷ lệ 2 nhóm tương đồng nhau (95,2% & 100%) với p > 0,05. Chưa ghi nhận khác biệt về tỷ lệ có kháng thể dương tính theo tuổi, giới tính, dân tộc, số lượng bạch cầu tăng và XQ phổi có tổn thương. Kết quả này đã góp phần cung cấp thêm bằng chứng khoa học về sự cần thiết của tiêm chủng vắc xin COVID-19 để duy trì và nâng cao nồng độ kháng thể.
Bệnh sốt xuất huyết được truyền sang người qua trung gian muỗi bị nhiễm vi rút Dengue (DENV). Nghiên cứu nhằm mục tiêu mô tả sự lưu hành của các týp huyết thanh DENV tại khu vực Tây Nguyên giai đoạn năm 2003 – 2020 bằng hồi cứu 5.345 mẫu huyết thanh được xác định týp DENV bằng kỹ thuật RT-PCR/ rRT-PCR. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy tại khu vực Tây Nguyên có sự lưu hành của cả 4 týp DENV trong đó DENV2 chiếm tỷ lệ cao nhất (47,48%), tiếp đến là DENV1 (38,15%); DENV4 (12,97%) thấp nhất là DENV3 (1,40%). Diễn tiến của các týp DENV khá tương đồng theo các tháng trong năm song theo diễn tiến hàng năm thì týp huyết thanh DENV3 và DENV4 không xuất hiện thường xuyên. DENV4 có xu hướng gia tăng mạnh trong những năm gần đây, nhất là những năm bùng phát dịch. Từ năm 2003 đến 2020 tại khu vực Tây Nguyên có sự lưu hành của cả 4 týp huyết thanh DENV, những năm gần đây chủ yếu là DENV2 và DENV1. Cần tiếp tục giám sát sự lưu hành của DENV để phòng chống bệnh sốt xuất huyết dengue tốt hơn.
Nghiên cứu nhằm đánh giá tình trạng kháng thể IgG kháng độc tố bạch hầu của trẻ em tại tỉnh Kon Tum, năm 2020. Sử dụng kỹ thuật miễn dịch gắn enzyme (ELISA) để định lượng nồng độ kháng thể kháng độc tố bach hầu. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy trong tống số 662 trẻ tham gia nghiên cứu, có 33,1% trẻ không có kháng thể bảo vệ; 6,3% trẻ có kháng thể bảo vệ một phần và 60,6% trẻ có kháng thể bảo vệ đầy đủ. Tỷ lệ trẻ em gái (63,6%) có kháng thể bảo vệ đầy đủ cao hơn trẻ em trai (57,5%). Tỷ lệ có kháng thể bảo vệ đầy đủ ở nhóm tuổi 0 - 5 là 62,6%, sau đó giảm nhẹ ở các nhóm tuổi tiếp theo. Có sự khác biệt có ý nghĩa thống kê về tình trạng miễn dịch giữa nhóm trẻ đã được tiêm và chưa tiêm vắc xin phòng bệnh bạch hầu (p≤0,001). Kết quả nghiên cứu sẽ là cơ sở khoa học cho việc đề xuất các biện pháp can thiệp phù hợp nhằm kiểm soát sự bùng phát dịch bạch hầu ở trẻ em nói riêng và cộng đồng dân cư tại tỉnh Kon Tum nói chung trong thời gian tới.
Nghiên cứu nhằm đánh giá tình trạng kháng thể IgG kháng độc tố bạch hầu của người dân tại thành phố Kon Tum, tỉnh Kon Tum, năm 2020. Sử dụng kỹ thuật miễn dịch gắn enzyme (ELISA) để định lượng nồng độ kháng thể kháng độc tố bạch hầu. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy trong tổng số 669 người tham gia nghiên cứu, có 30,6% không có kháng thể bảo vệ; 8,7% có kháng thể bảo vệ một phần và 60,7% có kháng thể bảo vệ đầy đủ. Tỷ lệ có kháng thể bảo vệ đầy đủ ở nhóm tuổi 0 - 10 là 66,4%, sau đó giảm ở các nhóm tuổi tiếp theo. Tuy nhiên, tỷ lệ có kháng thể bảo vệ đầy đủ tăng lên ở nhóm tuổi 51 - 60 và > 60 với tỷ lệ lần lượt là 64,0% và 70,5%. Có sự khác biệt có ý nghĩa thống kê về tỷ lệ có kháng thể bảo vệ theo trình độ, nghề nghiệp và lịch sử tiêm vắc xin. Tuy nhiên, không có sự khác biệt về tỷ lệ có kháng thể bảo vệ theo giới tính, dân tộc, nhóm tuổi, nơi sinh sống. Kết quả nghiên cứu sẽ là cơ sở khoa học cho việc đề xuất các biện pháp can thiệp phù hợp nhằm kiểm soát và khống chế sự bùng phát dịch bạch hầu tại tỉnh Kon Tum nói riêng và khu vực Tây Nguyên nói chung trong thời gian tới.
