The cryptocurrency market, especially Bitcoin, has been received much attention from investors in the market. They often pay attention to which factors determine Bitcoin prices in order to make an investment decision more correctly. Therefore, the research focuses on the determinants of Bitcoin prices in the market based on previous studies relevant to stocks. In addition, to control variables including stock prices, gold prices, and exchange rates, the study also emphasizes on the monetary policy of the two great countries considered to have a strong influence on the volatility of the cryptocurrency market, the US and China. Data in the research are collected from reliable sources (coinmarketcap.com for Bitcoin data and Euromonitor for data on interest rates of the monetary policy). The study collects daily data for Bitcoin prices and monthly data for macroeconomic variables in the period of 2010 – 2018. With regard to the time series data, the research applies two econometric methods, GARCH and EGARCH, to evaluate the difference between positive and negative shocks of the monetary policy towards Bitcoin prices. The results indicate that interest rates of the Chinese and American monetary policy have a converse relationship with Bitcoin prices. Besides, control variables show a statistically significant association with Bitcoin prices. In conclusion, the research suggests that Bitcoin has the characteristics of a financial asset based on its similarities over determinants between stocks and Bitcoin.

The study identifies the factors and measures the influence on the use of logistics services by seafood exporting enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City. Many research models on the same and relevant fields are reviewed to provide the comprehensive research background of the topic. Thereby, the research model and hypotheses are proposed with 26 observed variables for 05 factors of using logistics services. The survey is conducted in Ho Chi Minh City with 161 valid answers accepted for the analysis. After various statistical techniques to fully analyze data, the findings show that there is statistically significant relationship between all five factors and the use of logistics services by seafood exporting enterprises. Transportation time is the most influential factor, followed by reliability, cost, reputation and service quality. In accordance with these results, implications are proposed for both seafood exporting enterprises and logistics service providers to improve their operations and business performance. Despite the limitations during research process, the study has made a significant contribution to the literature of B2B buying relationship in the logistics industry.

Ở các nước kém phát triển hoặc đang phát triển như Việt Nam thì việc Chính phủ vay mượn ở trong và ngoài nước được coi là một nguồn lực quan trọng để hỗ trợ tăng trưởng kinh tế. Nợ công của Việt Nam những năm qua luôn ở ngưỡng cao (63,7% năm 2016)3. Mặc dù vẫn nằm trong ngưỡng an toàn, tuy nhiên nguy cơ vỡ nợ vẫn luôn hiện hữu nếu chúng ta không thực sự quản lý tốt vấn đề nợ công. Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh (TP.HCM) được xem là một trung tâm tài chính của quốc gia, số thu ngân sách hàng năm luôn đạt 1/3 cả nước. Năm 2018, TP.HCM với nguồn thu lên đến 369.621 tỷ đồng chiếm 27,8% cả nước, tổng thu ngân sách của thành phố bằng 45 tỉnh cộng lại, do đó tình hình nợ công tại TP.HCM ảnh hưởng rất lớn đến nền kinh tế của quốc gia. Mục tiêu của bài báo hướng vào nghiên cứu phân tích, đánh giá thực trạng, ảnh hưởng của nợ công tại TP.HCM để biết được tác động của nó như thế nào đến phát triển kinh tế tại TP.HCM giai đoạn 2013-2018, sau đó đưa ra một số đề xuất nhằm tăng cường quản lý nợ công.

Nghiên cứu sư dung các kỹ thuật trong phòng thí nghiệm nhằm mô tả một số đặc điểm sinh học phân tư của vi khuân đường ruột kháng kháng sinh nhóm β- lactam phổ rộng phân lập được tại cộng đồng xã Thanh Hà huyện Thanh Liêm, tỉnh Hà Nam, năm 2015. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy tỷ lệ chủng vi khuân đường ruột (VKĐR) kháng kháng sinh (KKS) nhóm β- lactam phổ rộng mang gen TEM, CTX được xác định trên các loại mẫu khác nhau chiếm đa số, tỷ lệ tương ứng trên các mẫu lần lượt là 47,6% và 37,0% (265 mẫu phân người khoẻ mạnh); 42,4% và 55,6% (trên 125 mẫu phân động vật nuôi); 4,4% và 1,3% (trên 160 mẫu thức ăn đã chế biến), và 14,8%, 13,2% (trên 182 mẫu nước ăn uống/sinh hoạt). Phân tích mối liên hệ kiểu gen của 88 chủng VKĐR KKS nhóm cephalosporin thế hệ 3 bằng kỹ thuật PFGE cho thấy có 14 genotype được xác định bao gồm genotype I đến genotype XIV; trong đó, phát hiện được 28 chủng vi khuân có tương đồng trên 80% trong nhóm genotype V. Cần thực hiện các nghiên cứu tiếp theo để xác định mối liên quan và sự lây truyền của các chủng VKĐR kháng kháng sinh cephalosporin thế hệ 3 trong cộng đồng dân cư.
