Neste artigo, discutiremos a construção da oficina intitulada “Devassos no Paraíso, Bichas e Putas em um País Tropical: Discutindo Arqueologias e Sexualidades”, realizada no evento “Cidades em Transe: Cotidianos em Conexão”, na cidade de Pelotas/RS. A oficina foi elaborada a partir dos aportes teórico-metodológicos da Arqueologia da Paisagem e da Arqueologia Queer e teve como foco a criação de cartografias insurgentes, que contestam as normas da ciência cartográfica e mapeiam os conflitos e as (re)existências na cidade. Estas cartografias foram concebidas enquanto formas de manifestar as vivências cotidianas das trabalhadoras sexuais e da comunidade LGBTQIA+ na paisagem do passado-presente-futuro de Pelotas. Além disso, suscitaram discussões entre as/os/es participantes sobre a luta pelo direito à cidade travadas por estas pessoas e as suas formas de resistir contra a putafobia e a LGBTQIA+fobia.
O evento ‘P.O.C. Projeto Outras Cores: três dias para falarmos de diversidade e educação’ foi realizado pelo Centro Acadêmico Florestan Fernandes, no curso de Ciências Sociais da Universidade Federal de Pelotas (CAFF-UFPel), e pelo Projeto de Extensão ‘Mapeando a noite: o universo travesti’, vinculado ao projeto de pesquisa ‘Margens: grupos em processos de exclusão e suas formas de habitar Pelotas’ do Grupo de Estudos Etnográficos Urbanos do Departamento de Antropologia e Arqueologia (GEEUR-UFPEL), nos dias 14, 15 e 17 de maio de 2019, na UFPel. A oficina ‘Kit-gay: construindo saberes para discussão de gênero e sexualidade em contextos educacionais’, um segmento do evento, aconteceu em meio a um contexto político conturbado, em que a ‘ideologia de gênero’ é acionada para mobilizar ações políticas autoritárias. Neste sentido, este texto busca refletir sobre o diálogo entre os campos da Antropologia e da Educação a partir de uma breve contextualização sobre esse tal de kit-gay, utilizando metodologias que abordam o gênero, a educação, a performance, a ideologia e as narrativas.
Este artigocoloca em pauta a legitimação do reconhecimento da população LGBTQI+ a respeito de uma categoria de gênero: o sujeito Queer. Através da organização de duas oficinas realizadas na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG) e na Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel), equipadas com nosso tripé metodológico -isto é, informação, construção e sensibilização -, fomos capazes de dialogar com aproximadamente 80 estudantes sobre Arqueologia e a Teoria Queer. Intitulado como Arqueologia e Teoria Queer: por uma Arqueologia Transviada, a oficina possibilitou elucidar os questionamentos levantados por Gontijo & Schaan (2017) através da ratificação do indivíduo transviado que fica subalterno mediante a vigente binariedade de gênero, delimitada pelos valores da cultura ocidental.
Este texto propõe debater sobre os processos de seleção e sobre as políticas de preservação de Bens Culturais em Pelotas-RS. Uma análise sobre o reconhecimento do conjunto histórico, que buscou entender as articulações municipais e federais na proposta de preservação, evidenciou uma predileção à valorização da arquitetura eclética dos séculos XIX e XX como Bens Culturais representativos da história local. A partir de uma aproximação entre a perspectiva crítica dos estudos sobre patrimônio e a Arqueologia da Arquitetura, procuramos identificar tratativas contradiscursivas sobre o patrimônio edificado local, evidenciando o papel social do fazer arqueológico no reconhecimento de patrimônios invisibilizados. Como exemplos serão abordados o Passo do Negros e a zona industrial do Porto de Pelotas.
Este trabalho tem com intuito problematizar as paisagens das cidades, em especial da cidade de Macapá/Amapá, a partir do que se denomina enquanto Arqueologia da Paisagem. Construída em uma interlocução entre Arqueologia, Antropologia, Arquitetura e Urbanismo, Geografia e Artes Visuais tem como enfoque as diferentes formas de se representar as paisagens, suas nuances nas formações identitárias e seus mais diversos regimes de conversação. Assim, foram analisados canções, fotografias e o atual Plano Diretor Urbanístico da cidade buscando suas dissidências, (des) caminhos e poéticas que reverberam no acontecer citadino.
