Kurikulum 2013 mengamanatkan pendekatan saintifik untuk mewujudkan cita-cita pendidikan nasional, 5M (Mengamati, Mencoba, Menalar, Menanya, Mengkomunikasikan). Melalui hal itu maka dalam penerapan pembelajaranya harus bisa mengamalkan 5M untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan pendekatan saintifik sudah berjalan dengan baik. Penelitian ini menganalisis penerapan pendekatan saintifik di SMP N 1 Kembaran untuk mengetahui jalannya penerapan pendekatan saintifik melalui fokus pembelajaran yaitu materi teknik dasar passing sepakbola pada mata pelajaran PJOK kelas VIII. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Keabsahan data dilakukan melalui metode trianggulasi. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Penerapan pendekatan saintifik sudah berjalan baik dalam pembelajaran penjas materi teknik dasar passing sepakbola kelas VIII. 2) Penerapan pendekatan saintifik sudah baik dan sudah membuahkan hasil namun belum bisa dikatakan sempurna karena harus menyesuaikan kondisi siswa. 3) Keberhasilan penerapan pendekatan saintifik secara sempurna dipengaruhi oleh kondisi siswa. Dari hasil diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik sudah baik dilakasanakan oleh guru dan sekolah serta sudah membuahkan hasil yang diinginkan namun belum bisa dikatakan sempurna karena masih harus disesuaikan dengan kondisi siswa.Kata Kunci: Pendekatan Saintifik, Pendidikan Jasmani, Passing, Sepakbola. Application of Scientific Approach to Physical Education Learning Basic Technical Material for Football PassingAbstractThe 2013 curriculum mandates a scientific approach to realizing the ideals of national education, 5M (Observing, Trying, Reasoning, Asking, Communicating). Through this, the application of the learner must be able to practice 5M to find out whether the application of the scientific approach is going well. This study analyzes the application of the scientific approach in SMP N 1 Kembaran to find out the way the application of the scientific approach through the focus of learning is the basic material of passing football in PJOK VIII subjects. This research is a qualitative research, the sampling technique used in this study uses purposive sampling. The validity of the data is done through the triangulation method. The analysis used in this study is the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study are: 1) The application of the scientific approach has been going well in the learning of Physical Education basic techniques for passing grade VIII football. 2) The application of a scientific approach is good and has produced results but can not be said to be perfect because they have to adjust the conditions of students. 3) The successful application of the scientific approach is perfectly influenced by the condition of the students. From the results above it can be concluded that the application of the scientific approach has been carried out by both the teacher and the school and has produced the desired results but cannot be said to be perfect because it still has to be adjusted to the conditions of the students.Keywords: Scientific Approach, Physical Education, Passing, Football.
Swimming is one of the measured sports that is influenced by several factors to be able to perform a variety of swimming style techniques well, one of the important factors and has not been studied more deeply, namely regarding the Body Mass Index (BMI) of junior swimming athletes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the Body Mass Index (BMI) in junior high school age junior athletes. The research method used is ex-postfacto research. The population of this study is junior swimming athletes at the Tirta Kembar Purwokerto swimming club, while the study sample is all junior swimming athletes of elementary school age with an average age of 10 years totaling 20 children and consisting of 14 female athletes and 6 male athletes, using techniques total sampling. Data collection was performed using the Body Mass Index (BMI) instrument with a validity and reliability of 0.98. Data analysis used the Benchmark Reference Assessment (PAP) based on the Body Mass Index (IMT) criteria and then analyzed using Ms. assistance. Excel. The results showed that the Body Mass Index (BMI) of junior high school age swimming athletes at the Tirta Kembar Purwokerto swimming club showed an average value of vulnerable BMI, but there were two junior female athletes who were at BMI with overweight criteria, with the percentage of BMI less than 65%, BMI Normal 25%, BMI Overweight 10% and no children in the category of Obesity. The conclusion of this study is that, on average junior swimming athletes of primary school age have a thin IMT category, so it is less ideal for a swimming athlete at junior age. Suggestion of this study is that there needs to be special attention from parents and trainers regarding nutritional intake in children, so that children can have BMI criteria in the normal category according to their age, and avoid the risk of malnutrition and obesity.AbstrakRenang merupakan salah satu olahraga terukur yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor untuk dapat melakukan berbagai teknik gaya renang dengan baik, salah satu faktor yang penting dan belum dikaji secara lebih dalam yaitu mengenai Indeks Masa Tubuh (IMT) dari atlet renang junior. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu ingin meganalisis karakteristik Indeks Masa Tubuh (IMT) pada atlet renang junior usia Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian ex-postfacto. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah atlet renang junior di klub renang Tirta Kembar Purwokerto, sedangkan sampel penelitian yaitu seluruh atlet renang junior usia sekolah dasar dengan rata-rata umur 10 tahun yang berjumlah 20 anak dan terdiri dari 14 atlet putri dan 6 atlet putra, menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengunakan instrumen Indeks Masa Tubuh (IMT) dengan validitas dan reliabilitas 0,98. Analisis data menggunakan Penilaian Acuan Patokan (PAP) berdasarkan kriteria Indeks Masa Tubuh (IMT) dan kemudian dianalisis mengunakan bantuan Ms. Excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Indeks Masa Tubuh (IMT) atlet renang junior usia sekolah dasar di klub renang Tirta Kembar Purwokerto menunjukan nila rata-rata pada rentan IMT Kurus, akan tetapi terdapat dua atlet junior putri yang berada pada IMT dengan kriteria berat badan lebih, dengan jumlah prosentase IMT Kurus 65%, IMT Normal 25%, IMT Kelebihan Berat Badan 10% dan tidak ada anak dalam kategori Obesitas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu, rata-rata atlet renang junior usia sekolah dasar memilki kategori IMT kurus, sehingga kurang ideal untuk seorang atlet renang di usia junior. Saran dari penelitian ini yaitu perlu adanya perhatian khusus dari orang tua dan pelatih mengenai asupan gizi pada anak, sehingga anak dapat memiliki kriteria IMT pada kategiori normal sesuai dengan usianya, serta terhindar dari resiko kekurangan gizi dan kegemukan/obesitas.
AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat IQ dan bakat dengan hasil kejuaraan POPDA senam di DIY. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan pengukuran. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh atlet senam artistik dan ritmik yang mengikuti kejuaraan POPDA senam di Yogyakarta. Sampel yang diambil dari hasil purposive sampling, berjumlah 16 atlet. Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat Intelligence quotient dengan hasil kejuaraan senam POPDA DIY, dengan nilai r hitung sebesar 0.187 0.400 r tabel dengan n = 16 pada signifikansi 5%, (2) Ada hubungan antara bakat dengan hasil kejuaran senam POPDA DIY, dengan nilai r hitung sebesar 0.956 0.400 r tabel dengan n = 16 pada signifikansi 5%, (3) Ada hubungan antara tingkat Intelligence quotient dan bakat terhadap hasil kejuaran senam POPDA DIY, dengan F hitung (113.316) (3.806) F tabel pada α = 5%. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara tingkat Intelligence quotient dan bakat terhadap hasil kejuaran senam POPDA DIY sehingga hasil ini bisa menjadi salah satu acuan dalam meningkatkan prestasi khususnya di cabang olahraga senam. The population in this study were all artistic and rhythmic gymnastics athletes who participated in the POPDA gymnastics championship in Yogyakarta. Samples taken from the results of purposive sampling, amounting to 16 athletes. Data analysis using correlation regression test. The results showed that (1) there was no relationship between the intelligence quotient level with the results of the DIY POPDA gymnastics championship, with a calculated r value of 0.187 0.400 r table with n = 16 at a significance of 5%, (2) There was a relationship between talent and the outcome of the championship POPDA DIY gymnastics, with a calculated r value of 0.956 0.400 r table with n = 16 at a significance of 5%, (3) There is a relationship between the level of Intelligence quotient and talent on the results of POPDA DIY gymnastics, with an F count (113.316) (3.806) ) F table at α = 5%. From the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of Intelligence quotient and talent on the results of the DIY POPDA gymnastics championship so that these results can be one of the references in improving achievement, especially in gymnastics.
