Introdução: O acompanhamento de pré- natal deve pautar-se na qualidade da assistência, baseando-se na integralidade e humanização para promoção da saúde, prevenir de doenças ou agravos e recuperação da saúde materna e neonatal. A valorização da opinião da mulher acerca das decisões que envolvem seu plano terapêutico é relevante e oportuna, sendo assim, o presente artigo tem como objetivo compreender os significados atribuídos por gestantes ao pré-natal realizado por enfermeiros. Metodologia: Trata-se de estudo exploratório, descritivo, de abordagem qualitativa, com doze gestantes cadastradas em uma Estratégia Saúde da Família da região médio norte do estado de Mato Grosso. A coleta de dados deu-se por intermédio de entrevistas semiestruturadas, analisadas conforme a análise de conteúdo do tipo temática. Resultados: dos achados emergiram duas categorias temáticas: a) significando o período gestacional e o acompanhamento de pré-natal; e b) a qualidade da consulta de enfermagem no pré-natal. Conclusão: os resultados sugerem que o pré- natal realizado pelo profissional enfermeiro e a importância da qualidade do pré-natal foram considerados pelas mulheres como um processo importante e necessário. As mulheres sentiram-se motivadas pelo cuidado e atenção dos enfermeiros nas consultas, sanando suas inquietações. Além disso, robustece a discussão sobre iniciativas de empreendedorismo na enfermagem e o fortalecimento da categoria, e da identidade profissional, que vem assumindo espaços nos diversos serviços de saúde.
Objetivo: avaliar perfil sociodemográfico, medidas antropométricas e condições de saúde dos Agentes Comunitários de Saúde de um município do Médio Norte de Mato Grosso. Método: estudo quantitativo, observacional do tipo descritivo, desenvolvido com 34 indivíduos, selecionados por conveniência. Dados coletados nos meses de fevereiro e março de 2020, com instrumento sociodemográfico, condições de saúde e medidas antropométricas. Análise das variáveis descritas por frequência absoluta e relativa. Resultados: os participantes dessa pesquisa eram predominantemente do sexo feminino, com idade variável entre 23 e 61 anos. A maioria possuía ensino médio completo e tinha renda familiar menor ou igual a dois salários-mínimos. A avaliação antropométrica revelou que 44,1% apresentavam Obesidade classe I, II ou III e 76,5% apresentavam risco elevado ou muito elevado para doenças cardiovasculares. Conclusões: a avaliação indica que o excesso de peso e a obesidade abdominal foram os principais acometimentos à saúde desses profissionais.
RESUMOObjetivo: analisar a prevalência e os efeitos da exposição aos agrotóxicos sobre a ocorrência de desfechos gestacionais adversos. Método: estudo transversal de base populacional, constituído de 275 mulheres selecionadas a partir das áreas de cobertura das Estratégia da Saúde da Família, com idade igual ou maior que 18 anos. A coleta de dados ocorreu por meio da aplicação de um questionário estruturado, construído a partir da junção e adaptação de dois instrumentos validados, sendo um de condições de saúde autorreferida e um questionário de identificação do perfil de exposição familiar aos agrotóxicos. A análise de dados se deu por meio de análise bivariada, estratificada e regressão multivariada de Poisson. Resultados: houve uma incidência de aborto e natimortos de 20,73% na amostra, cujas variáveis associadas a estes desfechos de gravidez foram, contato atual com agrotóxicos, intoxicação prévia pelos agroquímicos e cor não branca, sendo observado a interação entre as mulheres que lavam roupas utilizadas na manipulação de agrotóxicos.
