Um chatbot é um sistema capaz de conversar com um usuário em linguagem natural, de maneira a simular um diálogo humano. Exemplos de chatbots podem ser encontrados nas áreas de saúde, entretenimento, negócios e educação. Este artigo apresenta uma Revisão Sistemática da Literatura acerca da aplicação dos chatbots para fins educacionais em bases de dados nacionais e internacionais. Por meio da análise, constatou-se que a maior parcela dos chatbots foca na área de conhecimento da Ciência da Computação e que é destinada para o nível de ensino superior. Em geral, os estudos reportaram resultados positivos na construção do conhecimento dos alunos e destacaram os principais fatores que poderiam ser aprimorados para maior consistência do diálogo.
Sistemas Tutores Inteligentes (STI) constituem-se, atualmente, em uma área interdisciplinar que investiga como representar modelos de conteúdo instrucional baseado em decisões pedagógicas que consideram as interações dos estudantes. Normalmente, estas decisões são estruturadas a partir da modelagem do estudante, regras que representam o conhecimento do domínio, de um especialista e as estratégias de ensino. Entretanto, a maioria dos STIs preconiza a inferência de nível de necessidade do estudante através do feedback de exercícios e atividades planejados pelo STI, limitando assim a possibilidade interativa do estudante em relação a interface conversacional. Chatbots são então agregados aos STIs fornecendo uma abordagem mais “assistente”, usando técnicas de processamento de linguagem natural e de inteligência artificial, em geral, para gerenciar estas interações. Este artigo apresenta uma abordagem que associa a ideia de Zona de Desenvolvimento Proximal de Vygotsky proporcionando maior grau de liberdade ao estudante, quando possibilita a entrada livre, em linguagem natural, de problemas do domínio não necessariamente pertencente a base de atividades do STI. Neste trabalho, uma abordagem baseada em Deep Learning é usada para mapear automaticamente estes problemas trigonométricos, fornecidos como entrada livre pelo usuário, em modelos de equações, como parte de um projeto maior de um STI na área da Trigonometria (STIT). Esta abordagem traduz diretamente problemas matemáticos em modelos de equações usando um modelo de Rede Neural Recorrente (RNR), combinando um tratamento do conhecimento linguístico para modelar o contexto trigonométrico. Os experimentos conduzidos demonstraram que o modelo proposto classificou corretamente grande parte dos problemas enunciados por um grupo de alunos , fornecendo respostas para os problemas propostos em um formato de resolução passo a passo de um CAS (Computer Algebra System)
Resumo:A mudança abrupta na condução e organização das aulas no primeiro semestre do ano de 2020 exigiu flexibilidade e tomada de decisões rápidas por parte dos gestores da educação de muitas IES de diferentes países. A pandemia do Coronavírus exigiu que o formato tradicional de aulas presenciais e de configuração definida fosse alterado a fim de dar condições à continuidade e à qualidade das aulas. Alunos e professores tiveram suas habilidade e competências testadas a fim de adaptar-se ao novo modelo e dessa foram encurtar distâncias na construção do conhecimento e articulação dos saberes por meio de aulas síncronas. A avaliação dessa nova maneira de condução das aulas foi realizada por 1210 alunos de uma instituição de ensino superior que responderam a perguntas aberta e fechadas em uma pesquisa quali-quantitativa. Os estudantes, aproximadamente 30% destes cursando Engenharia, validaram o modelo. Em relação ao recebimento de informações e orientações sobre como seriam os encaminhamentos para as aulas, 95% as receberam previamente e em tempo hábil. Aproximadamente 94% dos alunos avaliaram que essas informações satisfaziam as necessidades do momento e aproximadamente 89% avaliaram que os canais de comunicação foram adequados à necessidade. Durante o período, 82 % dos estudantes estabeleceram uma rotina de estudos, o que facilitou a aprendizagem. Sobre as palavras que resumiriam o aprendizado deste período, os alunos destacaram resiliência, aprender, tecnologia, superação e praticidade como representantes. A dificuldade de acesso, velocidade de conexão e demora entre as perguntas e resposta às dúvidas foram alguns dos aspectos negativos citados pelos alunos.
Este artigo apresenta um estudo exploratório sobre o uso de Mundos Virtuais integrados com Agentes Conversacionais para promover o senso de presença do estudante, buscando a contribuir com o processo de aprendizagem na Educação a Distância. Este esforço se deu pois os Ambientes Virtuais de Aprendizagem tradicionalmente usados são majoritariamente textuais, e há uma carência de acompanhamento individualizado. Obteve-se relatos positivos de estudantes que utilizaram o ambiente, mas salientou-se algumas dificuldades inerentes ao uso de uma nova tecnologia instrucional, apontando para mudanças necessárias na forma como a abordagem deve ser conduzida.
Resumo: A habilidade de pensar criticamente, a fim de resolver problemas e atuar de forma consciente, cidadã e técnica na sociedade é definida no perfil do engenheiro, visando a formação de profissionais com capacidade na tomada de decisões mais assertivas. Nesse artigo, foram apresentadas algumas repostas aos questionamentos sobre o posicionamento de estudantes do primeiro semestre de diferentes cursos de Engenharia frente às buscas por informações, ao gerenciamento delas e a sua inferência na prática durante pandemia vivenciada no momento de redação deste. Verificou-se, no grupo estudado, que a busca por informações é criteriosa, o senso comum é questionado de modo tênue e ingênuo e a inferência do conhecimento está em processo de construção. Os estudantes da disciplina de Química apresentaram, no recorte desse trabalho, que o pensamento crítico em relação aos conhecimentos disseminados nos meios de comunicação confronta com o conhecimento científico. A defesa do uso de alguns materiais e de soluções de combate aos microrganismos foi fundamentada em pesquisas bibliográficas de fontes confiáveis, segundo os alunos. Isso fornece um olhar de que há critérios para a construção de um pensar mais reflexivo.
