African marigold (Tagetes erecta L.) is one of the most important flower crops grown commercially throughout India as a loose flower for worshipping, garland making, and garden display. The productivity and quality of flowers is greatly influenced by the quantity and source of nutrients. At present, these nutrients are primarily supplied through chemical fertilizers. The indiscriminate use and complete reliance on the use of chemical fertilizers has also led to deterioration of soil health, thereby affecting sustainable flower production. Keeping these points in view, a field experiment was conducted on African marigold cv. "Orange Culcuttia"
Chalcogenide glassy alloys of Se 90 Cd 10−x In x (x = 2, 4, 6, 8) are synthesized by melt quench technique. The prepared glassy alloys have been characterized by techniques such as differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray (EDAX). Dielectric properties of Se 90 Cd 10−x In x (x = 2, 4, 6, 8) chalcogenide glassy system have been studied using impedance spectroscopic technique in the frequency range 42 Hz to 5 MHz at room temperature. It is found that the dielectric constants ε , dielectric loss factor ε and loss angle Tan ı depend on frequency. ε , ε and loss angle Tan ı are found to be decreasing with the In content in Se 90 Cd 10−x In x glassy system. AC conductivity of the prepared sample has also been studied. It is found that AC conductivity increases with frequency where as it has decreasing trend with increasing In content in Se-Cd matrix. The semicircles observed in the Cole-Cole plots indicate a single relaxation process.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
