Researchers in Ubiquitous Games aim at discovering how computing devices and sensors can promote entertainment. They try to extend game experience beyond the virtual world by extrapolating its boundaries to the player's physical world. These games inherit traditional challenges of both domains (i.e., game development and ubiquitous systems), such as device heterogeneity, resource discovery, communication, and limitation of available resources. In this paper, we propose a framework for the development of ubiquitous card games, called Tardigrade. It seeks to minimize the challenges of implementing this kind of ubiquitous game. We implemented an evaluation experience with eight mobile developers. The results are dicussed further in this article.

Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) software has been increasing dramatically in last years. In this context, the Software Agents, Environments and Applications School (WESAAC) is a Brazilian event of MAS which is in its tenth edition. When studying a research area, it is important to identify the most active groups, topics, the research trends and so forth. This study aims to investigate how the WESAAC is evolving, by analysing the papers published in its ten editions. We adopted a research strategy that combines scoping study and systematic review good practices. We identify the most participating institutions and authors, the main topics discussed, the types of the contributions, the conferences and journals that have most referenced WESAAC papers, the publications with the greatest impact, and the trends in MAS. We found 128 papers over the 10 WESAAC editions, which were analysed and discussed.
In Computer Science, teaching Distributed Systems presents many challenges primarily related to the students' prior knowledge. Some new Learning Approaches emerged and can aid to improve learning processes in this scenario, such as Flipped Classroom and Adaptive Learning. In this context, this paper presents a study of the integration of the Flipped Classroom method with Adaptive Learning techniques for assisting Distributed Systems courses. We conducted quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate students' acceptance. We also implemented a quasi-experimental study to evaluate the learning impact on students. Students had a significant improvement in the test score in both approaches. We presented the first ideas to teach Distributed Systems (DS) through the use of the Flipped Classroom Method (FCM) in [Araujo et al. 2018]. In this paper, we go fur-
Abstract. Forming collaborative learning groups without criteria generates problems such as individual's disproportionate participation, demotivation and resistance to group work. Given this context, this study presents the HERMES, a system to support optimized groups formation for collaborative learning. The study articulates knowledge of Positive Psychology, Education and Computing. The system was developed as a result of a doctoral thesis and is conceived in light of the Prometheus methodology, the JaCaMo framework, Genetic Algorithms and Data Mining. Experiments are performed in MOODLE, a virtual learning environment, from which HERMES is validated Resumo.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
