Tanulmányunkban röviden áttekintjük a tömegkommunikációs, fandom-irodalmat, majd több oldalról, online kérdőíves megkérdezéssel és Facebook-aktivitáson alapuló adatokkal vizsgáljuk a Harry Potter-rajongók értékeiben rejlő különbségeket. Kutasunk eredményeként igazoltuk a társadalmi-politikai ideológiai értékek, a magas szintű közéleti érdeklődés összekapcsolódását a Harry Potter-affinitás mértékével. A tanulmányban a Budapest Pride médiareprezentációját, valamint a reprezentáció LMBTQ+ emberek és jogaik iránti attitűdökre gyakorolt hatását vizsgáljuk. Kutatásunkban televíziós hírműsorok Pride-tudósításait elemeztük, továbbá 1000 fős online lakossági mintán végeztünk médiakeretezést szimuláló, kísérleti kezeléseket tartalmazó kérdőíves adatfelvételt (survey-kísérletet). Az adatfelvétel különlegessége, hogy a minta fele a 2017. július 8-i Pride felvonulás előtti héten töltötte ki a kérdőívet, a másik fele pedig a Pride-ot követő napokban. Tehát a kérdezés során alkalmazott kísérleti ingerek mellett egy természetes kísérletet is végeztünk, hogy megvizsgáljuk, hatott-e az esemény az emberek témával kapcsolatos attitűdjeire. Adataink összességében csekély mértékű hírkeretezési főhatásokat mutatnak. Leglátványosabban az mutatkozott meg, hogy a közéleti cselekvéssel összefüggő kérdésekben a politikai keretezés képes lehet módosítani a véleményeket.
