The article describes the nature and intensity of age-related changes in the activity of alkaline and acid phosphatases in the tissues of the mucous and muscle layers of the proximal, medial and distal parts of the jejunum in rabbits. The enzyme activity was determined spectrophotometrically in the scientific laboratory of the Federal State Budget Educational Institution of Higher Education Chuvash State Agricultural Academy. It was revealed that high metabolic processes in the tissues of the mucous and muscle layers of the jejunum in rabbits are found up to thirty days of age. The low-est activity of metabolic processes is detected from the age of 45 days. At the same time, by the age of four months of rabbits, stabilization of the activity of alkaline and acid phosphatase enzymes does not occur.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
