The traditional methods of examination process is often characterized by human errors, question leakage and recording of score. In this study, the active application for generating multiple exam modules based on different types of e-exams have been presented. The first user is the instructor who submits the required exam questions based on suitable scores and different evaluation scales. The final user is the student who can find many selected e-exam modules by using PC screen interface. An Immediate scoring system can follow the final score. The used tools in the present system involves a Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Visual Basic 6 language and MySQL correlated with oracle and system implementation. Many types of e-exam are considered such as True & False, answer in one word multiple choices, matching between words in two columns and dragging into the screen. The system has been tested successfully based on multiple e-exam modules. The result of this system observed an efficient examination process due to robust generating and managing tests and less human error in the condition of multi-student with multi-lecturer.
The advance of technology has created a demand on face detection, which is the first phase in face recognition, one of the important biometric technologies. In this research, the Facial Feature Crop Detection Based on Haar Feature and Adaboost Training framework is presented. The framework’s objective is to detect face crops and each facial feature’s crop like eye, mouth and nose crops; the framework depends on using Haar-like features and the AdaBoost learning algorithm. This algorithm has been chosen according to its computational effectiveness and easiness. The presented framework was tested on a dataset containing 500 colour images of faces collected from the FERET database. The training achieved 100% accuracy and 98.8% achieved for the testing set.
This paper, will overview the use of data hiding techniques in JPEG digital image file format. In particular, will describe how one can use Steganography to hide information in a JPEG digital image. This research will review of hiding data by using Least Significant Bit (LSB) as a method, and hiding a text (document) in a JPEG image as a media cover. This paper was implemented by using matlab to complete hiding data. Data hiding is a technique that is used to embed secret information into a cover media. However, the transmitted images may be compressed or not. When it is transmitted, an errors transmitting may occur. If such errors occurred, the receiver cannot extract the information correctly from the cover_image. Digital media have been massively produced, easily manipulated, and swiftly transmitted to almost anywhere in the world at anytime.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
