The objective of this research was to determine the global warming potential (GWP) of office furniture in Thailand. The life cycle of product was carried out from a gate-to-gate perspective according to life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology, using global warming potential as the selected impact category. According to the results, the environmental impact of global warming is the seat backrest; seat frame and seat recline, respectively. To improve the production of seat frame, the piece that the environmental impacts of global warming as much as possible can help reduce the impact on the environment caused by the release of toxins into the air decreases..
This research aims at studying the parameters of particleboard manufacturing using waste tire rubber crumbs and wood particle, mechanical and physical properties of the composite panel according to standard JIS. A5908-2003: Particle Board. Analysis of Covariance with the cofactor (Covariance) of a piece of wood density at different levels of statistical significance (α = .05) and determine the appropriate level of mechanical and physical properties. The total amount of waste tires was composed of 5% urea-formaldehyde 13% in compression at 5 minutes, and the density of the material less than 868.88 kg/m3. Improvement of the mechanical and physical properties of a piece of particle board was to conform to the international standards.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
