Based on planned behavior theory (TPB), this study aims to explore the direct or indirect impacts of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intentions through entrepreneurial self-efficacy and explore the moderating role of psychological capital. Sample data were collected by sending online electronic questionnaires to university students in some universities in Guangxi. A structural equation model was used to test the 757 valid sample data. The results showed that: (1) college students of different genders and those with or without family business experience have significant differences in terms of their entrepreneurial intentions; (2) entrepreneurship education has a significant positive impact on entrepreneurial intentions; (3) entrepreneurial self-efficacy plays a complete mediating role; and (4) higher psychological capital can positively regulate the impact of entrepreneurial self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intention. The findings help explain the need for entrepreneurship education. In order to increase students’ participation in entrepreneurship education courses, different innovative technology-based curricula and educational methods can be used at higher educational levels. In addition, this study constructs a mediation and moderation model influencing entrepreneurial intention based on TPB, which further tests and enriches the research perspective of this theory from the perspective of positive psychology.
The objective of this study is to examine the sense of social connectedness (SSC) and prosocial behavior (PB) of students in Guangxi higher education institutions in China and to further understand the factors influencing PB of higher education students. In this study, a total of 1,007 students were sampled from 8 Guangxi higher vocational schools through purposive sampling using questionnaires, of which 676 (67.1%) were male students and 331 (32.9%) were female students. This study further enriches self-determination theory by exploring the effects of teachers’ character teaching behaviors and social support on PB, using the SSC as an intrinsic motivation. In addition, the results of the study revealed that SSC, perceived teacher character teaching behaviors and perceived social support (PSS) were positively related to students’ PB. SSC affects PB not only directly, but also indirectly through the mediating role of perceived teacher character teaching behavior and perceived teacher support. Teacher character teaching behaviors and PSS also play a chain mediating role in the relationship between SSC and PB. Finally, this study provides strategies to optimize school character management for higher education students in order to meet their basic psychological needs and thus promote the production of PB.
The effects of laser parameters and the ablation mechanism in laser ablation of a carbon fiber reinforced silicon carbide (C/SiC) composite are investigated in the present study. Six different power densities are provided, as well as six levels of pulse numbers, and then ablation experiments are conducted for the C/SiC composite, induced by a pulsed laser. Based on the experimental results, the characteristics of surface morphology and ablation behavior are discussed. It is revealed that the surface morphology of the C/SiC composite under laser irradiation usually includes three regions: the center region, the transition region, and the border region. With the increase of laser power density, the ablation of the center region becomes severe, surface cracks occur, and more spherical SiC particles are found in the transition region. As for scenarios involving multiple pulses, the damage occurs in the center region at low power density limits, within the first two layers below the surface. However, if the power density is relatively high, an ablation pit occurs in the center region when the pulse number is larger than 50. Meanwhile, the transition region and the border region diminish with increase of the pulse number. It is noted that both the power density and pulse number have noticeable effects on surface morphology and ablation behavior during laser ablation, which is helpful for material design and performance evaluation of C/SiC composites.
