Los modelos y teorías, en la práctica de la enfermería, orientan el quehacer del enfermero que va más allá de la técnica y permiten guiar las actividades, mejorando la gestión de los cuidados de enfermería en los servicios desalud. Objetivo: Determinar la utilización de modelos y teorías de enfermería de las Escuelas del Ser Humano Unitario y el Caring, por las enfermeras del Hospital María Auxiliadora. Material y métodos: Estudio de nivel aplicativo, descriptivo y de corte transversal, tuvo una muestra de 137 enfermeras, se usó la técnica de la encuesta y el cuestionario como instrumento. Resultados: El profesional de enfermería utiliza los modelos y teorías de enfermería en la conceptualización cuidado en un 8%, persona en 34%, salud, un 19% y entorno en un 19%. Dela Escuela del Ser Humano Unitario utilizan un 12% cuidado, el 23% persona, un 8% salud, el 13% entorno y de la Escuela del Caring, el 4% utilizan el cuidado, un 55% persona, el 69% salud y 25% entorno. Conclusiones: El paradigma de transformación ubica a las escuelas del ser humano y el caring, las concepciones de estas teorías en su dimensión persona, salud, entorno son utilizadas en muy bajo porcentaje por el profesional de enfermería.
Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre los factores institucionales y la satisfacción laboral del profesional de enfermería del Hospital María Auxiliadora. Material y Método: Investigación con enfoque cuantitativo, dediseño no experimental, descriptivo correlacional y de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 130 profesionales de enfermería que laboran en los diferentes servicios del Hospital María Auxiliadora. La técnica derecolección de datos fue la encuesta y el instrumento el cuestionario elaborado por la investigadora. Resultados: Muestran que el 93.1% de la muestra pertenece al sexo femenino y el 6.9% al sexo masculino; el 43% tiene másde 40 años de edad, el 22.3% entre 35 y 40 años y el 34.7% tiene menos de 35 años; el 44.6% es casado y el 42.3% soltero; en cuanto al tiempo de servicio en la institución, el 34.6% labora menos de 5 años, el 32.3% de5 a 14 años y el 33.1% más de 15 años. Existe relación directa y significativa entre los factores institucionales y la satisfacción laboral (Rho=0.272, p=0.002). También se encontró que los factores institucionales de salario(Rho=0.378, p=0.000), condiciones laborales (Rho=0.227, p=0.009) y políticas administrativas (Rho=0.234, p=0.007) tienen una relación directa y significativa con la satisfacción laboral. Sin embargo, los factores desupervisión (Rho=0.059, p=0.502) y relaciones interpersonales (Rho=-0.012, p=0.888) no presentan evidencia estadística de relación con la satisfacción laboral. El análisis de relación se hizo a través del coeficiente decorrelación de Spearman. Conclusiones: La relación directa y significativa del salario, condiciones laborales y políticas administrativas representan la satisfacción; no así, la supervisión y relaciones interpersonales, que,previenen la insatisfacción.
RESUMENEnterococcus faecalis es un microorganismo relacionado con diferentes enfermedades entre ellas las infecciones endodónticas. Por su presencia en los conductos radiculares luego de haber concluido un tratamiento endodóntico está relacionado con los fracasos de estos tratamientos. Esta bacteria tiene una variedad de factores de virulencia como la hemolisina, gelatinasa y su capacidad de resistencia a múltiples antimicrobianos la hacen un microorganismo sumamente agresivo. Es un patógeno presente en bacteriemias y enfermedades sistémicas. Esta revisión permitirá conocer un poco más sobre este microorganismo tratándose de enfocar en los procesos infecciosos de los conductos radiculares.
