Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan bahan ajar berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap pemahaman konsep pada pembelajaran Biologi siswa SMP di Kecamatan Banjarmasin Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian quasi experiment dengan rancangan The Nonequivalent Pretes-Postes Control Group Design Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Kelas VII yang ada di Kecamatan Banjarmasin Barat. Penentuan sampel menggunakan random sampling. Sampel diuji kesetaraan berdasarkan data raport kelas VII semester satu mata pelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diketahui sampel yang dijadikan penelitian ada dua yaitu SMPN 25 Banjarmasin kelas VIIC sebagai kelas eksperimen dan SMPN 33 Banjarmasin Kelas VIIC sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pretes dan postes. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik statistik deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan data dari variabel penelitian. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan teknik analisis varian One Way Anova yang dibantu oleh program SPSS versi 16 for Windows. Taraf signifikansi dalam pengujian hipotesis adalah 0,05 (p ≤ 0,05). Sebelum analisis varians, dilakukan uji asumsi yaitu (1) uji normalitas data dan (2) uji homogenitas varian. Kesimpulan dari penelitian terdapat pengaruh penerapan bahan ajar berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap pemahaman konsep pada pembelajaran Biologi siswa SMP di Kecamatan Banjarmasin Barat karena p = 0,002 < α = 0,05.
The use of various learning methods is naturally carried out by teachers as educators. Learning science in elementary schools requires the use of interesting learning methods to have a positive impact on learning outcomes. One of the learning methods that can be used by teachers for science learning is the educational game method. Several studies using the game method in learning activities show satisfactory results. However, very few studies with the title application of educational games to elementary science learning are found on the Google Scholar search page. Therefore researchers are interested in conducting research with the title "Application of Educative Game Learning Methods on Science Learning Outcomes at SDN Sungai Miai 7 Banjarmasin". Based on the title, the purpose of this research is to find out whether the application of educative game learning methods can improve learning outcomes. As per the title, this research was conducted at SDN Sungai Miai 7 Banjarmasin. This research method is classroom action research (CAR). Data was collected through test and non-test techniques by filling out a questionnaire. Tests are used to collect data on learning outcomes. The data obtained was then analyzed in a quantitative descriptive manner. The results of learning science by applying the educational game method at SDN Sungai Miai 7 Banjarmasin have increased from each meeting based on the average value and percentage of classical completeness.
<p>Often science (IPA) students tend to be considered smart and diligent in studying, but is the motivation of students majoring in science also higher than students majoring in social studies (IPS)? Based on the above thoughts, the researcher is interested in knowing how to compare the motivation to learn English between students in class X-IPA science and grade X-IPS social studies at SMAN 5 Banjarmasin. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of students' motivation to learn English between students in class X-IPA and class X social studies at SMAN 5 Banjarmasin. The comparison of motivation focuses on integrative motivation and instrumental motivation. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research. The data of this study were sourced from primary data collected through a google form questionnaire/questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the descriptive percentage analysis method by calculating the frequency and percentage of answers to each item in the questionnaire. Based on the conclusion, it is known that the integrative learning motivation and the instrumental learning motivation of students in class X-IPA are lower than students in class X social studies.</p>
Abstract:The objective of this study is to see the process of improvement of cognitive achievement on sciences of ecosystem subject using cooperative model of NHT. The study used classroom action research and assigned the tenth graders of SMAN 1 Muara as the subject. The study took action for two cycles. The study revealed that cooperative learning type NHT improves students achievement. Students' participation in cycle I 45% increased into 70% at the second cycle, and average percentage of mastery in cycle I 85% increased into 95% in cycle II. Key-words: ecosystem, achievement, NHT.Biologi sebagai salah satu cabang IPA menyediakan berbagai pengalaman belajar untuk memahami konsep dan proses sain. Keterampilan proses ini meliputi keterampilan: mengamati, mengajukan hipotesis, menggunakan alat dan bahan secara baik dan benar dengan selalu mempertimbangkan keamanan dan keselamatan kerja. Mata pelajaran biologi di SMA/MA menerapkan kelanjutan IPA di SMP/MTs yang menekankan pada fenomena alam dan penerapannya meliputi aspek-aspek sebagai berikut: hakikat biologi, kenaekaragaman hayati dan klasifikasi makhluk hidup, hubungan antar komponen ekosistem, perubahan materi dan energi, peranan manusia dalam keseimbangan ekosistem.Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang dilakukan dengan guru Biologi kelas X di SMAN 1 Muara Harus bahwa nilai Biologi siswa kelas X masih terbilang sangat memprihatinkan. Itu semua bisa dilihat dari hasil ulangan pada semester pertama yang rata-ratanya masih dibawah standar SKBM (Standar Ketuntasan Belajar Minimum) sekolah, yaitu 70. Guru sering kali harus mengulang materi yang telah disampaikan agar siswa mengerti, motivasi belajar siswa juga kurang baik, antara lain berbicara dengan teman, acuh tak acuh terhadap apa yang dijelaskan oleh guru, keluar masuk kelas dan hanya sedikit yang benar-benar serius mengikuti apa yang dijelaskan guru. Akibatnya, pemahaman dari suatu materi yang telah disampaikan guru kurang dipahami oleh siswa.Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, peneliti mencoba untuk memberikan suatu cara agar proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung di dalam kelas bisa lebih efektif. Maksudnya peneliti memilih kelas X sebagai kelas yang akan diteliti dengan pemberian model dan metode pembelajaran yang tepat, dengan harapan siswa nantinya bisa memahami tentang materi yang telah diajarkan.
